The most irritating thing for beer lovers is to have the server ruefully announce that they do not have the brand you want. With Beer Café, whose outlets (13 in Delhi NCR) stock up to 30 brands of both domestic & international beer, that dilemma can be wonderfully avoided. The flagship outlet ‘The Biggie’ in Connaught Place as well as others spread across Delhi, each have their own particular ambience - expect cheerful, not dimly lit! Outdoor seating as well to look forward to in the winter. Their menu is filled with mainly Indian & Italian food (along with the expected momos & burgers) to keep you going.
Existence of Beer cafe around delhi is a breather. Tried fresh draught here and found it decent. nice catching up place for friends.
This is a nice Resturant serving pizza, pasta and some local dishes. Service was excellent and the food was too. Freshly cooked and piping hot. Would definitely recommend we’ve enjoyed so much that we went back three times
I have been there couple of times with friends but no interesting dishes are there which goes along with beer, prices too too high as compare to the other bar in cp.even didn't have choice for wheat tap beer.
After an afternoon shopping in the heat, coming across the Beer Cafe was perfect!! Immediately the friendly staff were happy to recommend something good to eat. We only waited 20min for our pizzas which were amazing! Washed down with some cold Coronas. The pricing is affordable but not ‘cheap’. The service is fantastic and is so ambience.
This is a usual place to be in.. considering so many pubs have mushroomed nearby and offering great ambience and food. Beer is great..
There is one thing that ties all the people of all caste and creed globally is their love for beer. This tall fermented drink is consumed like water in some countries. That is true love. Germany the godfather nation of beer would be proud to see our country joining ranks to prove our love too. The beer café on janpath road, Connaught place is our proof of admiration for this heavenly drink. The café as the name suggests is dedicated completely to feed their customers beer. And they come in hordes to be serviced. The interiors of café is cheerfully bright with sunshine walls and shiny table tops.
Draught beers are poured from the tap filling the glass till the rim with frothy goodness. Bottle beers both light and strong are available of domestic and international brands. Charger from Scottish cliffs, sol and corona from Mexican beaches, from islands of japan asahi, Estrella dam from mystic spain, sagres from Portugal, from Holland plains Amstel, erdinger weissbier by germans all the brands loved by you on your travels are now housed under one roof ‘The beer cafe’. Whisky drinkers need not feel left out for your daily dose of scotch is provided too. As is gin and beer/vodka/rum-based cocktails. For assigned drivers of the group you can accompany your friends over juice or erdinger which is non-alcoholic beer. Munches to give salty kick are easy to eat and light with the drinks. Corn bhel, honey chilli potato, dimsums, spring roll, French fries, kebabs and paneer tikkas creates a spread worthy of a king. The bites are small and proportioned so pick up and chew away.
Large gatherings are better suited for beer café cause of ample space and laid back attitude. The café even have a section on the menu shareables for this precise purpose. Large platters and combo meals are dished out if you don’t want to eat home cooked food. Taste wise the food is quite good but let’s admit the hero here is good old beer. The spotlight remains firmly on the beer café for making a tiny dream land for beer devotees. In eight hundred only you can drink beer to fill your heart. Connaught place has once again managed to earn our regards. Cheers!
