Located at Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Connaught Place, Tamasha is a haven for foodies and pub hoppers. With a sprawling outdoor seating arrangement, a lively indoor area and a cosy semi-covered courtyard, the place suits the needs of all sorts of people. Serving a sumptuous array of food and drinks, it hosts a bar inside as well as outside (designed like a lorry). The recommended selection of grubs from the massive multicuisine menu to explore here include tandoori chicken quesadillas, paneer 65 baos, non vegetarian Japanese bento box (prawn tempura, kung pao chicken, fried rice and kimchi salad) and vegetarian Thai green curry bento box (Thai spring rolls, green Thai curry, steamed rice and kimchi salad).
A very pleasant place, with great cocktails and good selection of music played by a capable DJ. I believe it gets louder as the evening progresses but we left just before 10 pm, at which time conversation was still possible! The snacks were quite good. We had the golden fried prawns (very good). Would visit again.
During winter the open area is perfect with good food and decent crowd. The waiters are very jovial and friendly
as i entered in premises i was offered velate parking but at the time leave asked to pay Rs.100 for that which is unethical and not mean of good quality professional setup. service charges added in bill without informing and taking consent for that as per orders of high court and consumer tribunals that on resto can leviy service charges by its own.they are forcing for full plates and that is too not fresh and prices are too high as compare to quality of food. also alowing howkass and smoking inside the main sitting area and not bothering if any non smoker has problem and issits hm to leave or change sitting place instead of stopping smokers and ask then to smoke in smoking zone
Rude and non cooperative staff. High headed manager with no sense of respect for women. Highly not recommended.
This was on my wish list for I don't know how long. Tucked a block away from the bustling CP, the place welcomes you with an outdoor seating with nice lights, music and good decor. On the inside, they have seating spread across 2 levels. The interior theme is good, it's now a trend to have funky options when it comes to light decors and this place does it so well. Coming to the food: Tikka tasters Veg: Veg has usual options, lol, but the paneer tikka was good and a must option for veg people anyway, this is good. 4/5 Tikka tasters Non Veg: Nicely done and roasted chicken tikka. But it is very hard to make a chicken tikka not good. Another good option. 4/5 Arabic Grilled Chicken Pita Wraps: Too bad, I was nearing to my full capacity by the time this one was on the table. Nevertheless, it tasted good. Chicken tikka filling with soft wrap served with pickles, lettuce and garlic mayo. And the portion is good too. More than enough for a single person. 4/5 Garlic Bread with Cheese: I am not too much a fan of garlic breads and find them usual. They made it good here, it was soft and stayed soft. Nicely done. 3.5/5 Chicken Keema Nachos: My usual orders almost everywhere I go and I am yet to go wrong with this. One word for their cream cheese: Greeaatt 4.5/5 Kalonji Mutton Kebabs: Mutton Kebabs, malabar paratha and pepper malai. Malabar paratha and pepepr malai are amazingly done. Mutton kebabs are usual you can get anywhere 3.5/5 Oreo Shake: Another good offering, had the right balance of thickness and sweetness. tasted very good. Very well done. 4/5 The hookas they server are amazing too. You don't expect lower prices in this area or anywhere in the vicinity. Tamasha is no different, this one's not cheap, not very expensive, I'd say above average when it comes to the prices. However, the service is prompt and polite. One word for our server Rahul, great guy, managed all the complications, our order confusions and everything. LOL. Was quick to attend to our calls and prompt to serve. Good job buddy. Overall, my first experience was very good. Will certainly won't mind repeated visits here. The good ratings they get are justifiable. Good Job Tamasha. Expect me again, very soon !!
Tamasha, Priyank Sukhija's latest venture, is creating a buzz since it has opened. Co-owned by Jaideep Anand and brainchild of Priyank Sukhija, Tamasha is an indentation above all his creations. This is where the city comes alive with sweltering nightlife enveloped in music and booze. The vicinity has become even more attractive since the arrival of some newly found eateries, one of them being a chic upscale bar called ‘Tamasha', placed on Kasturba Gandhi Marg in the heart of trendy gastronomy circuit. What attracts the weary punters to this bar is the sound of throbbing lively music that seems to escape and pour into the hallways of CP. A horde of pub hoppers invade the quarters religiously in hopes of a savvy good time.
Interiors and Seating Arrangement
A lively indoor area, outdoor seating and a cozy semi-covered courtyard, the place will suit every kind of person. A wide courtyard is sheltered by a row of trees, dotted with cozy outdoor furniture. A similar pattern is repeated upstairs up on the roof, which is decked with smart outdoor chairs upholstered in bright blue colour. Every possible vacant corner outside the building is transformed into a cozy nook of tranquility, lit by lanterns and fitted with comfy furnishings. Inside the look is kept rustic and earthy, without compromising on style or trendiness. They have a different section for Sheesha and have the bar-truck fascinating crafted mocktails/ cocktails fusion.
What's on the menu?
