I really loved this place’s food. Although the service was a not as good, the staff were still polite. The ambience is pretty decent. What all I had: Chicken Drumettes: Tasted like Chilli Chicken, these were good. Paneer Tikka Pizza: One of the best I’ve had in a long time. Butter chicken masala: Lasagna: Amazing! Dim sums: These can be passed. Drinks: Chocolate Shake: It was really good! Overall, Food: 5/5 Service: 3/5 Ambience: 4/5

When one speaks of dining scene of New Delhi, they often end up talking about the city’s sharp drinking scene. Let’s admit, the main focus of any good eatery or pub lies not on good food but on its bar selection. Fancy out-of-the-box cocktails presented in fun innovative manner becomes focal point of the menu, casting a shadow on the otherwise great grub spread. In this case, Rajouri Garden is indeed fortunate. Tucked in the trendy bar-encrusted lanes of Rajouri Garden is a place who has thrown out the bar menu and put all his brains behind the food preparations. Result is, their food menu shines! We are talking about ‘The Firki Bar’, where food takes the center stage and no foodie is left unsatisfied after his stint at Firki Bar. Find the bar perched on the first floor at BK Dutt Market.
Patrons are made to feel welcome the moment they step inside the door. Vibe is inviting and warm, a feeling accentuated by their fantastic food menu. Multiple cuisines are targeted here. You are welcome to choose between a vast range of North Indian, Chinese, Italian and American delicacies. While you are waiting for your order, tap into their free Wi-Fi or sit back and watch a thrilling game playing on screens. On the nights there is live music, the bar is jam packed with punters. Ask for their famous red velvet monster shake or a delicious mocktail concoction called ‘cheater cock’ to wash down the meal. Gilafi seekh kebab, chicken satay, beer mein dupki are some of regular’s favorites. Malibu dal makhani, freaky grilled chicken tikka sandwich, make over pizza, Thai curry risotto, will do fabulously.
Those dropping in for a quick lunch during office hours can straightaway dip into Firki Bar’s tiffin box meals. They are pocket-friendly as well as fulfilling. An assortment of toothsome desserts wraps up your evening very nicely. Opt for, ajuba kheer, Parle G ice cream sandwich, banoffee pie, blueberry cheesecake, tiramisu, granular jalebi with rabri and chocolate balls with hot chocolate sauce & ice cream. The Firki Bar has a very casual laid-back vibe, preferred by the young students. Exposed brick walls with open ceiling lends that industrial element. They try to chic it up with chandeliers of wine bottles, art installations and plush leather couches. The Firki Bar is a tad pricey but good food justifies it.
