Junkyard Café’ is located in the lane behind Select Citywalk which was once the place to be seen at. The ambience is hip and the music not too loud, the Michael Jackson mural really catches your eye. They have an extensive healthy menu, complete with a calorie count and nutritional facts all mentioned. Must try the stuffed mushrooms from the healthy starters. Avoid the sushi and dim sums and stick to safer options such as the pizzas. The Indian food is mouth watering, especially the dal makhani which was rich and smoky, just how it should be. This is the perfect place to watch a game on the big screen and have a few beers with friends.
Had a really great time at the junkyard. We had some good food and drinks listening to some good music.
Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon for a casual outing with friends. The decor and the seating is all great but the service was slow, even though it wasn’t that crowded. It took them half hour to just fit 8 of us on an appropriate table which was super annoying. They did check out IDs which was a good thing. But it was shocking to find that they didn’t have normal, common spirits like rum. The zomato gold works here so that’s a plus point. Food was good in general. Music is super duper loud and they refused to lower it. Hookah was no greater than any other place. Cheers 🍻
Located at the backside of Select city walk, this place is easy to find. The place has really quirky interiors and their staff is quite helpful as well. Their classic cocktails are really amazing and my recommendations would be liit and cosmopolitan Coming to food I would recommend Junkyard ultimate cheese garlic bread Chicken hong kong Baked mac and cheese Peri peri chicken pizza A very good place to visit with friends Definitely recommended
I had been to Junkyard Cafe in Mumbai and, thus, had high expectations from this one!! Located at one of the prime locations in Delhi, the interiors are very raw and rustic and go very well with the theme of "Junkyard". On my last visit I couldn't have any cocktails as it was dry day and was looking forward to it. I had 4 drinks and they were amazing!! Bourbon Wreckage Fluid- As the name suggests, the base is bourbon whisky with orange juice and cinnamon. Simple loved it. LIIT- You cannot go wrong with LIIT, and it was perfect with all the spirits combined Sangria- Had the red wine sangria. Loved it. Skeleton 3- Listed under Graveyard cocktails, I personally liked it but go for it only if you like a strong cardamom flavor. The food here is delicious as well. The menu is vast and you'll be spoilt for choices. I ordered- Chakhna Platter- The perfect accompaniment to your cocktail/ beer. It had a lot of items and was too good. Just ask for the mint chutney and it would take the platter to the next level. Chilli Paneer- Desi Chinese for the win. The chef nailed this one. Nice, soft chunks of paneer tossed with onion and capsicum. Tempura Prawns- This was little undercooked for me. But, loved the sauces they served with it. Half n Half Pizza- I combined Peri Peri chicken with Quattro Stagioni. Both of them were very different but equally delicious. Junkyard Cafe is one amazing place to chill with your friends, family or colleagues over few drinks and delicious food.
Great huge big place Good service Good food with mocktails nd cocktails Totally Value for money. If ur in a big group then can chill here at low prices.
The fashion of de-glamourizing the space with unique out-of-the-box ideas have seem to caught on the trend in every major pub in the city. More and more pubs are investing into casual rustic decors to bring in the style into the drinking spaces, using bundles of ropes, unvarnished walls, murals, junk, mismatched chairs and old fashioned nicks-knacks to design the space. And the one name that gave birth to this trend is a very popular chain of pubs called ‘The Junkyard Café’. The name Junkyard Café defines itself and gives you an idea of what the place is all about. Created out of old fashioned junk and put together in a clever polished manner, the pub is the backhanded way of glamourizing the space with de-glamourizing items. The most funky outlet of Junkyard Café is nestled at Salcon Ras Vilas Mall, Saket, Delhi.
Like any great drinking place The Junkyard Café holds a spectacular bar menu, brimming with an array of fabulously innovative cocktails and a hard liquor selection to match. Counted amongst the top budget-friendly bars in Delhi, The Junkyard Café justifies its title with an awesome selection of moderately priced drinks. Accompany them with few eclectic appetizers like, banshu aur singare ki tikki, tandoori prawns with wasabi mayo, Bhatti ka murg tikka, stuffed paneer pakora, chicken shish taouk, smoked cheese balls, tomato & basil bruschetta, chello kebab, broccoli & cottage cheese satay, Asian lamb skewer, Thai spring roll and crispy prawns in XO sauce. Fill yourself further with main course of, lal maas, pork belly, grilled fish with lemon butter sauce, mapo tofu, Thai green curry, sushi, pizza, pasta and burgers.
The variety is mind-boggling throughout the menu. Third course consists of sweet dishes such as, chocolate dim sum, crazy carrot cheesecake, homemade rabri with spiced jaggery, baida roti with rose petal ice cream, Nutella cheesecake and white chocolate raspberry truffle. Interiors of The Junkyard Café are made dark and cosy with tones of woody brown and plush couches dotted all over the place. The space is generously vast forming into various nooks for you to relax in. But what gives the pub its name is the odd pieces of junk used to decorate the space like, old cycle tyres, drums, graters and truck bonnet. A fantastic mural of Michael Jackson on one wall becomes the focus of attention immediately.
