Located in Green Park, Delhi, Turquoise Cottage is the perfect place for people to enjoy the nightlife. This casual dining gastro-pub offers a colourful, spacious, and elegant ambience along with an extensive multi-cuisine menu serving Indian, Continental, Chinese and Thai delicacies. The beautiful open terrace area and rooftop with outdoor seating let diners have a wonderful time. Their ‘Chicken Xacuti’ and ‘Chicken Wings’ are must-haves for the non-vegetarians.
Great atmosphere if your are planning to go out with friends to grab some good quality of food with a drink would definitely suggest you this place. The ambience of the place is fantastic I really enjoyed being there.
Great party destination for budding dance lovers. Great crowd, awesome dj, beautiful interiors, interesting cocktails, great food and lovely staff.
initially i was quite apprehensive about the pub for an occasion such as birthday, those picture of men and women in inebriated condition were just kept on haunting till i saw the place my self on the birthday things(furniture n decor) were beautifully placed giving it a rough look but staff was really nice and helpful. And the most surprising was the quality of food which simply blew me away, it was just too good.
To be honest, I hadn't heard about the Grog Head (having spent most of my time in North and West Delhi) until a friend threw a party there. My reaction - this place should be more mainstream (maybe it is and I've been ignorant?) ! 1. Location Above the Hyundai Showroom in Block A of Green Park. Closest Metro Station - Green Park (Unsure about the parking situation as I took the metro.) 2. Seating and Ambiance First thing you'll notice is that the place is HUGE !! It's sprawled over two floors (the upper being a partially covered terrace) and has multiple seating areas with a section set apart for dancing. It also has an open deck for smoking. The ambiance is pretty chill and hep ("no one writes hep anymore" - well, I'm old-school :P) with a decent music setup. 3. Service The staff is helpful and the service was prompt. 4. Food I must make a declaration here - a LOT of food was ordered and there were quite a few dishes that instantaneously vanished by the time I had put my phone back after taking a picture (talk about a hungry group of people!). I can, however, vouch for the fact that everything I did manage to eat tasted fresh and had the right balance of flavours. Nothing we ordered was bad, and this in itself is a compliment when you consider the sheer variety of things that were served ! What DO I remember eating? Dessert, of course! The meal was concluded with CHOCOLATE WALNUT BROWNIE and BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE. Both were made well, had a good texture and were high on flavour. A perfect end to a delicious meal. Conclusion: The Grog Head is a definite go-to for a meal or a party. (I'm planning to go there on a weekend evening to check out the party scene.) Pro-tip: Ask the bartender for one of their signature cocktails - it's usually something from the menu, made with an added flair of genius.
Went yesterday with bunch of friends to attend a stand-up comedy session. Firstly dont go with the above description mentioned on Zomato - it's all lie written by the restaurant - Happy Hours Time > I asked at 7:30pm and the guy refused - 15% off on ICICI Card they have mentioned on Zomato ~ when you step in normally it's advertised or at-least while billing the server asks if you have any such cards - these guys didnt at all, though I gave ICICI Card only. - Overall the place is very cheaply made, unhygienic bathrooms, worst attendants, dont have a Jockey even - worst music, even their menu is cheaply made out of newspaper material - it's hard to hold. - Their prices are not at all pocket friendly especially the kind of place this was , prices were double - they dont deserve. On top of that crappy preparation. - Since food preparation wasnt good at all and quantity wasn't aligned to the prices, sorry didn't click pictures at all. >>> THIS PLACE DOESN'T DESERVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY <<< What we Ordered: - 1 LIIT Peach Pitcher Sometimes due to more quantity preparation the taste doesnt remains uniform - i did request to make a strong one and also advised to let us do a straw test before finalizing - The Serving person quiet didn't understand. Voilah - It was the worst LIIT I had - to correct it he got more alcohol added but it was still the same. - Loaded Nachos ( Not on the Menu ) When you say loaded you just dont simply sprinkle cheese on CORNITOS and warm it and give it out. Not worth it again. - Exotic Veg Platter ( We thought of something filling - dont be fooled by the name ) Nothing exotic about it and my life's worst tandoori platter. 2 pieces of Mushroom/Soya Chaap/Paneer Tikka / Veg Kebab. Every piece was so small and it felt like (Restro) we are being so generous. Trust me the person who prepared - should be ashamed as a Chef. Since we were still hungry we ordered a Exotic Veg. Pizza at a whopping Rs. 510 (Hoping to be good) - I would say this was okayish but not worth it more than Rs. 350 and the size wasnt appropriate compared to other places. Apart the standup comedy show, nothing great about this place. Not worth your hard-earned money, also when you step in to such a place to enjoy - you need a pro-active and attentive person serving your table and here scenario was we had to call a person everytime, not a single soul keeps an eye on the table. Unlike other places there was no manager roaming which i could spot. Before ending review couple of more observations: - Not to forget they have a good photographer i.e. why the great pictures on Zomato. - They also need to change their lift - it's cheap weirdo lift with cheap wallpaper in it and broken buttons. - Very near to our seat was garbage lying too. Thanks
