Town Hall, located in Two Horizon Centre, Golf Course Road, is a high-end fine dining restaurant that offers world-class cuisines of Japanese, Thai, Italian and Asian. It has a modern décor and is a suitable place to sit and enjoy the food with friends and family. They have a well-stocked bar for those who like to complement their food with drinks. The yum stuff to order from Town Hall’s diverse Asian menu include the ‘Filipino Barbeque Pork Belly’ and the ‘Pepper Crusted Chilean Sea Bass’.
TownHall has always been a cult favourite, well until recently that is! Visited the Gurgaon branch today and my impression was “wow” it’s well made, grand interiors, lux ambience, great service & smiling staff ensuring you’ll have a great dining experience. The menu is of course enticing, diverse and appetising, it makes you want to order something from each page. However things go downhill from here. TownHall Sushi Roll was just terrible, bland, odd temperature, devoid of any crunch or texture and just sad. Priced at Rs 1250 plus taxes, I felt this was a waste of money. Crispy Lamb was crunchy alright but doused in an overly sweet sauce, not the best dish and poor quantity! Almost half of what I expected. Green Thai Curry was an absolute disappointment. It was cooked with cumin and tasted like an Indian curry. The chef was happy to take feedback and replaced it with a better more authentic curry. Yes, the latter order was slightly better but still not among the better curries. Overall, the service was on point but the food was a complete let down! When I am paying prices as high as these guys charge, I expect at least decent food. I wouldn’t be visiting again!
Went there with my fiance for our date night. We both love trying out new cocktails and Town Hall didn't disappoint. From their Mulled Wine to Spiced Time, Smokey Date & Sake Sangria, each one was rich, potent and aromatic. Barring Sake Sangria, their winter special cocktails were perfect for Delhi in December. We also had their vegetarian dim sums (tried the shanghai fried ones and kinchi ones) which were both yums. My fiance also tried some mutton starter which he claimed was a little on the sweeter palette. Overall, food quality is good but the quantity is low. They had a live band playing a mix of blues and rock beats. Their female lead vocalist was pretty impressive. Overall, it's a fine dining meets jazz bar with their tanned-red leather upholstery for sofas and metal chairs with velvet cushioning. Staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth checking out! Definitely worth considering for a fun date night (not a quiet one, though).
Located in the new Horizon building, this restaurant is conveniently close to my workplace so we do pop-in occasionally for a meal. Personally as opposed to the khan market branch, I find the food here a little inferior in quality. However, that said I am also not a big fan of some things that both restaurants do like garnishing their kebabs with synthetic cream which I would expect they should understand just looks cheap, though I know many restaurants do this, but hey stand out. Had their Pork Belly as well but as opposed to the pork belly you have say in New York, this was small chunks /pieces which had been stir fried to a dry state, so not nice. Service was fast however and their honey-nut ice cream was great,
Went for lunch in a group. The service was good. Great staff The soft shelled crab was delicious. Dim sums were good , so was the pan seared fish dish which were the best of the lot The food was in general good Friendly staff.
The restaurant is located in a business park and has a good ambience. The taste and portion sizes of the starters and mains are great.
