This much loved and talked about restaurant cum lounge in karkardooma is a popular spot for the people in East Delhi. Known for its spacious terrace seating and comfortable indoor space, this place offers delectable dishes with enticing flavours. Affordable bar and food menu, multiple seating options along with the bold and vibrant décor, makes it great for an outing with family or friends. One should try the well-made Momos, both steamed and tandoori.
they have the best rooftop open seating arrangement. The terrace gives a satisfied feel too. Indoors are a tad bit dark. The prices are slightly on the higher side though. Overall, it's worth it. Food is just okay. The staff is cordial and humble. If possible get a seat on the roof top to enjoy yourself. It is located in kakadnooma area which is slightly far away from CP and Railway station.
I went to Utopia with my wife for dinner. The place at which this restaurant is located is really bad as one has to go through the garbage thrown by nearby non-veg restaurants in the Karkardooma complex. Utopia offers indoor seating and rooftop as well. Since the weather was nice, we decided to sit on the rooftop. It is a perfect place for people wanting to have drinks and snacks bcoz the ambience is suited to that with all the hookas lined up at the counter. We ordered a Mushroom and Thyme soup and Utopia special nachos. The soup was delicious and since it was a bit cold at the rooftop, we finished it in a jiffy. Nachos were served with cheese and salsa. Nachos were a bit spicy which I likes as they were a bit different and the salsa was really good. I felt that the soup should have been served a bit more hot so that one could relish it longer. Also, they should consider the fact that food tends to get cold fast at the rooftop during winters. We also ordered their Chicken Steak sizzler which was served with mashed potatoes, mushroom sauce and veggies like broccoli, beans, carrots, baby corn etc. The steak was tasty especially the mushroom sauce which they had used liberally. I found the chicken to be a bit stretchy and difficult to cut by knife which was disappointing. It became a bit chewy also in the end. I would say that the prices at this place compare with that of a good cafe at CP which would offer a much better ambience and food quality. Even the drinks menu was overpriced. The restaurant is definitely expensive by at least 30%-40%. I don't see a great value going there. It is perhaps running well since it offers rooftop seating which is very uncommon in East Delhi. Not recommended for food.
Very well located opposite Kadkaduma Metro station. Well decorated with nice collection of photos. Reasonable price and good collection of drinks.. service is up to the mark.. Food is also delicious. Worth to visit again..
Though the road that leads to this place is quite deserted & scary types; but inside is altogether a different experience. They have nice dine in zones on ground, first and then the roof. You won't regret the service and serving and the place doesn't have any issue even with kiddos around as there is enough room for everyone!
