Ascent – The Rooftop Lounge is a restaurant and bar in Khaleed Bin Waleed Road, Bur Dubai serving Indian and international with cocktails. Known for rooftop seating; ideal for drinks and date nights.

I had the pleasure of being looked after by Akbal at the bar, and I must say he is truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, he welcomed me with genuine warmth and a friendly smile that immediately set the tone for the evening. His attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to anticipate what I needed without me even asking made the experience outstanding.

Akbal not only delivered impeccable service but also created a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere throughout. He was attentive without being intrusive, always ensuring my glass was full and that I was having a great time. It’s rare to come across someone who combines such efficiency with a personal touch, but Akbal does it effortlessly.

He is a real credit to the team, and it’s because of service like his that I will happily return again. Thank you, Akbal, for making my visit memorable—you truly went above and beyond!

Food was really tasty. Had a buffet for 45 person and it was up to the mark. Especially Vishaal and Himanchi's service was great and highly accommodating. Would highly recommend for outdoor gatherings

Loved the vibe and ambience... If you looking for a low key place with not so loud music with rooftop ambience and bollywood music.. This is the place... Special appreciation for Hema iqbal laxmi reza great hospitality... This place deserves a good rating.. Food is good too and they have ac rooms too...all the best

Akbal sharan Andrea Vinay all three of them are very nice and good service .. would love to visit this place again .. must visit this lounge with your dear ones . Staffs are very welcoming and great great service ? I m so overwhelmed by their service . Would come again ❤️Thankyou guys ❤️

I have been a regular customer of Ascent Rooftop Lounge and have visited the place at least 5–6 times before. I have always enjoyed the ambiance and food, and until now, I never had a reason to complain. Unfortunately, my recent experience over a simple phone call was shocking and completely unacceptable.
I called to book a table for two, first or all more than 5 calls no one picked and the next person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional. Instead of assisting with the reservation, he said they receive “600–700 calls every day” and questioned why he should pick up calls. He repeatedly said it’s “not possible to lift the calls” and that if I wanted to eat, I should just come directly to the restaurant. He even said there was “no need to call.”
When I politely told him that the way he was speaking reflects very poorly on the service standards of a restaurant chain, he responded even more arrogantly, repeating that they receive hundreds of calls and asking, “Why should we pick the call every time?”
When I asked for his name or to speak to a manager, he refused to give his name and claimed there is “no manager,” “no owner,” and that he is “nameless.” This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable in the hospitality industry.
As a regular customer who has visited this lounge multiple times, this was extremely disappointing. I never expected such pathetic customer service. Mr. Praveen Shetty or the management seriously needs to investigate who is handling their calls because this person is damaging the restaurant’s reputation.
I too work in a healthcare sector and respects hospitality irrespective what our situation at busy hours is.

Bishal i must say your Halloween decorations and concept of Bollywood style halloween party just brilliant me and my all friends are enjoyed a lot definitely we will come agin dear

We went for Ifthar on the 3rd day, it was a waste of money. Honestly the options were very less for the price which they were charging for... No kebabs were in the menu. We thought it would similar to desi dhaba kinda of food, but we were fooled by the person who took us our order claiming it's the same menu as desi dhaba as spread is from desi dhaba.

The food was cold. Yes it was a rooftop setup but seemed it was directly brought from the chiller when we picked the food when they opened the counter, food temperatures were not maintained raising serious food safety concerns. Butter chicken tasted salty and it was more like a chicken curry than a butter chicken. Desserts were another Joke, in the name of umali they had kept some kheer made of puff pastry. Overall it was the worst decision which we took to go there and we regret going there.
