We visited this place for dinner. The ambiance was cozy but the colours of the wall were too strong.
We ordered for some Jal Jeera, Paneer Tikka, Non Veg Platter, Mutton Roganjosh, Malai Kofta, Veg Hydrabadi Dum Biryani, Roti Basket and Gulab Jamun.
The food was tasty but the biryani and gulab jamun let us down. The biryani tasted like veg pulav and the gulab jamun was too sweet.
Overall it is a good dinner place for small families.

Visited Gabbar's Grill with colleagues the other day for lunch.
The ambience is nice and vibrant with colorful posters and stuff to look at. The seating is also comfortable. Ample parking downstairs.

We ordered the following:
Butter Chicken with Rice - They have a nice creamy butter chicken with succulent pieces and rich in flavor. Loved it with rice but will also go well with naan.

Mixed grill Platter - Has a variety of chicken and mutton starters like malai tikka, chicken tikka, mutton seekh, chicken seekh and so. Nice and spicy with good marinating. Chicken pieces are nice and soft.

Gulab Jamun - Served hot. This was delicious and made to perfection. Loved it. Maybe it can also go well with vanilla ice cream.

We also ordered mango lassi which was nice and thick.

Overall good quality food served quick and friendly staff too who have knowledge of the menu and will assist you with a smile.

A unique theme based restaurant off of bollywood’s infamous villain Gabbar from the movie Sholay. If Gabbar ever had a favourite hangout spot to eat with the rest of his dacoit gang it would be here haha! Cause this place is a tribute! The walls are adorned with quirky accessories and posters with references to the movie and not to mention their cheeky menu! From basanti ke meethe to mausi ki roti, this place is a hella fun spot for Gabbar’s fans to check out!

Amritsar Fish Fry [AED 29]: Yummers! This is a must try on their menu. It is coated in chick pea batter, well seasoned with spices and deep fried. This one has got to be our favorite type of fish fry.

Mutton Seekh Kebab [AED 29]: The kebab tasted great, just how it needs to be just felt slightly dry to us. Other than that A game with the flavors.

Murgh Malai Kebab [AED 26]: We found it a little dry but they’ve got the flavors on point. Cooked in a clay oven, these boneless pieces of chicken tasted creamy and were easy on the spice. Recommend this to those in need of something mild.

Methicorn Seekh Kebab [AED 20]: A recommendation from the owner herself. Its a veggie twist to the traditional meaty kebab. Made from corn kernels, cottage cheese and fenugreek leaves this was quite absolutely delicious. No more shying away from veggie kebabs for us.

Mutton Roganjosh [AED 32]: Another bestseller and a recommendation from the owner and it didn’t disappoint in the least. The meat was so tender and juicy and went perfectly along with the mausi basket.

Mausi Basket [AED 14]: An assortment of 5 breads for one of those days when one type isn’t enough. We had the amritsari kulcha, paratha, naan, roti and makai roti. All of them were well prepared and paired with our gravy quite well. Qudos for still be soft even after our mini photoshoot.

Hyderabadi Dum Biryani [AED 26]: Available in mutton/chicken/veg/prawn options. We opted for chicken. Aromatic rice, perfectly cooked chicken and rich in flavors. They didn’t go overboard with the toppings which we actually prefer. Recommend this if you’re going for a heavier meal.

Carrot Halwa [AED 18]: Made in-house, this warm and bright orange dessert stole the show for us. Its a such a classic dessert and here at Gabbar Grills, they’ve done justice to it. We would have liked a side of ice-cream along with but hey! we aren’t complaining it was too good as it is as well.

Service:
The owner played the host for us and the rest of the dine-in customers which seemed to be a nice touch. All the servers are warm and friendly.

Bonus points for handling the deliveries and dine-in customers really well because we have seen many places focusing just on the deliveries.

Cash Outflow:
The price is apt for the quality.

Circling Back:
Definitely coming back for more of the fish fry!

Very average food. The mutton biryani was the big put off as after reading all the reviews I had my expectations set very high probably. The mutton seekh kebab was tad dry. The keema kulcha lacked any flavour and couldn't get any taste of the keema. The Dal Makhani was good. Probably the only dish that was able to pull through with a star. The restaurant really needs to up its flavor quotient to be of any reckoning in the north Indian food space.

Let me start with the location .The location is quite far and the restaurant is a small place . The decor is surely a mixer of Chinese restaurant and the Gabbar 's Grill Indian restaurant .The decor and wall art is funky with bollywood themed and Chinese themed.
Starting with the drinks ,the lassi and lime cooler is something I really loved about this restaurant. So refreshing and cooling . Then were the mix platter of kebabs and amritsari fish platter ,both were so moist ,delicious and so freshly served .
The mains were ok not that good as expected. The goan prawn curry was over powered with extra cream ,the rogan josh was good in taste but the curry was kind of salty to taste buds. The vegetable cauliflower was quite nice and fresh served with basket of hot fresh naan.
The lastly the desserts gulab jaman and carrot halwa was nice but halwa was a little let down and the portions were quite small. Overall good place for grills only !

kulchas and roti and North Indian dishes are their specialty
dosa and other southindian dishes are just ok.
portions are just enough for one.
dal makkani and tikka is fine.
price is above average

Visited this place several times but available photos are from 2019 end.

Gabbar grill is the place where you get best Punjabi dishes as well as Chinese delicacies from Lee's Wok.
My wife enjoyed thoroughly Punjabi dish Paneer Tikka masala with make di roti while Me and my daughter enjoyed momos and fried rice (of course, after grabbing 2-3bytes from wife's Punjabi plate??.
Dishes served hot whether it's Chinese or Punjabi.
Momos were steamy.
Loved the flavours served.
Loved the sauces came with momos and pudina chutney came with Punjabi dish.
Roti was crisp and yummy.
