Kashkan Kissaghar by Ranveer Brar is a restaurant in the Financial Center area of Dubai serving Indian. Known for Indian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

We visited for lunch and received a very warm welcome. All the team members were smiling and made us feel comfortable right from the start. The restaurant was not very busy at the time, with one large table and a couple of smaller tables occupied.

Initially, the place lacked good background music, but after some time the music became audible and was pleasant. The table setup was excellent and gave a very luxurious feel. The bar was visible and well stocked, offering a wide variety of choices.

We started with a couple of mocktails and a pint of beer. While the mocktails were reasonably priced, I felt the pint was quite expensive at AED 65.

For starters, we ordered Chilly Chicken Kebabs and Chicken Bhujing. I have been eating Chicken Bhujing since childhood, as the dish is inspired by Vasai. The kebabs were amazing and full of flavor, while the Chicken Bhujing was decent but not exceptional. Portions were generous.

Next, we ordered the mixed kebab platter, which included mutton seekh, salmon, malai tikka, and another kebab. The portion size was good and all the items tasted lovely.

We wanted to try the biryani, but by this point we were already quite full.

For dessert, we ordered Gulab Jamun served with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It was beautifully presented and tasted excellent.

Our server, Latifa, was wonderful throughout the meal—attentive and friendly from start to finish. The manager also visited our table for a quick check-in. Overall, the staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring.

The menu is inspired by dishes and cultures from all over India, which adds to the experience. I was very satisfied with our visit and would definitely recommend this place.

A wonderful fine dining experience

The latest addition - Kashkan 2.0 and from the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an elegant lunch. The staff was warm, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without being intrusive. Mr. Ashish - The manager was very polite and taken very good care. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor especially the Daal Kashkan, the signature dish by Chef Ranveer Brar — you can tell there’s real attention to detail in both taste and plating and also chat starters were amazing.

The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed yet upscale dinner, and the pacing between courses felt just right. Prices are as per the fine dining experience, but worth it for the overall experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a refined meal in a calm, sophisticated setting for business lunch or relaxed evening with friends as now they have range wine selection also.

Overall it was an amazing experience.

A new elevated dining spot on SZR — Kashkan 2 and honestly the earthy, cozy setup immediately gives that “ghar ka khazana” vibe. Their Mumbai Quarter Bar-style kebabs, chaats and aloo tikki Quarter - such a throwback. Aloo Tikki Chaat and Chili Chicken Skewers absolute must-tries!
Their set menu is totally worth it just for these.
And of course, the showstopper — the iconic Daal Kashkan. One bowl is enough to understand why everyone talks about it. Portion sizes are solid, and the flavours feel rich without being heavy.
Staff deserves credit too — super sweet and took time to explain everything without rushing, which really made the experience even better.

My first time dining at a celebrity-chef restaurant, and truly hats off to Chef Ranveer Brar and his entire team—the food lives up to the name.

We celebrated our marriage anniversary with family and friends, and every dish was outstanding—from the Guava & Watermelon Salad, Kebab Platter (Galouti, Shami, Lagan ki Boti), Murgh Tikka Makhani, Chicken Stew, to the Afghani Murgh Tikka Biryani.
The complimentary anniversary dessert was a beautiful and thoughtful touch.

Lovely ambience, amazing flavors, and a very friendly, helpful team.
Special thanks to Mr. Virendar—his guidance felt more like a brother and friend.

Chef Ranveer Brar—people say you can smell food through the screen on MasterChef… now I understand why. Truly a gem.

I have been eating here a few times now and the taste and flavors are out of this world good. It’s the best Indian food I ever tasted. It’s so rich in flavors and the service staff are super friendly. It’s a luxurious experience with great calm live music as well. Highly recommended! ?✨

Tried the 5-course taster menu with wine pairing here on the 1st day of Ramadan. Additionally, also tried 2 cocktails. The food was tasty & well presented. An accidental plate reached my table but was whisked away before I had a chance to attack.

The ambience was marred by a large family group with poor civic sense. Kid throwing around a plush toy on the floor repeatedly, a lady clanking two cutlery pieces together to keep that kid entertained et cetera - it took away the whole vibe of being seated in a classy restaurant ensconced within a hotel.

Parking here is always easy owing to the valet service.

The 9 of us had a great time at Kashkan - the food was amazing, Latifah and her team looked after us very well. The Dubai Dome dessert was a highlight for me: the melting chocolate by the warm pistachio creme revealed another world inside it; brownie, chocolate, kunafa, fruits, beyond yummy! The signature dal with 24K gold ghee is to die for.

We had an amazing lunch. The food was incredible. Ms. Saloni and the team was an excellent host. She made us feel comfortable and was very cordial, listening to our needs and suggesting some excellent vegetarian dishes that we thoroughly enjoyed.
