La Vigna is a restaurant in Diera, Dubai serving Italian, pizza and pasta. Known for Italian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

Location wise it’s perfect. My favorite was the creamy mushroom soup. I don’t really like the lamb chops because it’s kinda fatty. Lastly, the bloody mary was really good?

Food tasted pretty good . We ordered diavolo pizza, risotto and the carbonara pasta. All tasted good. Service was good too. They have done the interiors well. Has an vintage Italian resto feel.

Air-conditioning was pretty bad though and that too at this weather. And you could hear the sound of blender while dining. Seems they have a blender in the same hall. That's not something you want to hear while dining.

La Vinga Restaurant is one of those rare gems that checks all the boxes. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by an inviting ambiance that perfectly marries modern sophistication with a touch of rustic charm. The warm lighting and stylish decor create the ideal setting for an evening of culinary exploration.

Let’s talk about the food, because that’s where La Vinga truly shines. The menu is a celebration of seasonal, fresh ingredients

I had the worst dining experience at this restaurant. I ordered a pizza and a Bolognese pasta, and both were absolutely terrible. The pizza tasted like it had been sitting in a freezer for ages, and the pasta was bland with low-quality, questionable meat.

A few hours after eating, I got severe food poisoning that sent me to the hospital. It was not just an upset stomach—I had intense diarrhea and felt extremely sick. This place clearly does not use fresh ingredients or follow proper food safety standards.

I will never go back, and I strongly warn others to stay away. No meal is worth risking your health!

No doubt, there are many places in Dubai now, where you can dine in, enjoy the indoor & outdoor ambience at the same time. Century Village is one of the oldest among all..... which offers you fine dining & memorable outing experiences. We had been there a number of times & this time we were invited to dine in at LA VIGNA, a true Italian restaurant that not only focused on interiors that represent the countryside of Italy with its wooden & red brick wall Decor, but also had maintained their authentic flavors since long. It has got a plenty of indoor as well as out doors seatings.
Considering the pleasant weather of Dubai now a days, we planned to sit out side.

Coming back to food.....
For appetizers ..... they served us
- Some fresh & hot breads..... with variety of dips.

For drinks, they served us
- Mint Cooler ..... a version of Lemon Mint Mojito ... & Naked Colada ... a blend of pineapple & coconut. Some amazing drink

For salads.... we ordered
- Insalata Mista salad...... Mixed salad leaves along with cucumber & tomatoes...... simple & fresh salad ...

From starters...... we tried
- Calamari Alka Griglia..... grilled calamari ... marinated with lemon & oregano. Totally amazing.
- Ravioli de spinach friti.... Ravioli stuffed with spinach & cheese in cream sauce. .... it’s like melting in your mouth.

For mains we ordered...
- Farfella pasta with Alfredo sauce.... creams sauce... mushrooms & cheese ... along with chicken. ... now that’s what I called a perfect chicken Alfredo pasta.
- Penne pasta with bolognese sauce.... with ground beef ... tomatoes & herbs ... a perfect combination.
- Risotto Prosciutto Funghi.... creamy rice tossed with turkey ham & loads of cultivated fresh mushrooms. It’s creamilicious ..
- Filetto de bye al Pepe verde.... Beef tenderloin steak marinated with peppercorns & olive oil ... served with mashed potatoes & some stir fried baby-corns & other vegetables.
- Diavola Pizza.... freshly baked in their wood fired oven.... topped with tomato sauce... mozzarella cheese ... beef salami & spicy dried chilli ... a perfect pizza.

Last but not the least ..... the Desserts ..... “ Dolci” .. as they say in Italy ... we choose to have...
- Tiramisu ... coffee flavored sponge with mascarpone cheese
- Crema caramellata con Frutti di Bosco.... cream caramel topped with mixed berries.
Both were delicious.

They also serve some awesome sheesha ...we really enjoyed the sheesha in the lush green surroundings. A must have if you are at La Vigna.

To sum it all .... it’s a perfect place to hand out with family or friends .. with awesome food in the most amazing location.
Thanks to Mr. Suren for introducing us to such an amazing place & the team of La Vigna for serving us.

The location wise is lovely, staff are helpful, however we were disapointed with the food we ordered. Simple spaghetti bolognese and turkey ham risotto. Portion is great but taste is not close to being okay. Unfortunately, I don't think we will ever come again

We had a terrible experience here as the Pizza served was very soggy... When we asked the wait staff to see and check, they did nothing and said thats how it is !! I later asked for ketchup which came long after and was chilled.... Service was equally poor... This rating of two still was given for hukka guy changing coal ..The Sushi was ok!

La Vigna, the only Italian restaurant at Century Village, takes you to a different place and time altogether. Without getting onto a plane, you’re transported to the Italian countryside as you step into this restaurant with rustic brick walls, wooden windows and red and white table tops. The fiery built-in pizza oven adds to the ambience.
The restaurant is two-floored, in-addition to a huge outdoor area, a bar and shisha. The weather these days is so nice, that my friends and I decided to have our lunch at the outdoor dining area. A bread basket filled with different types of freshly baked bread was served as soon as we were seated. And we couldn’t stop munching on them. It was that delicious. For drinks, I ordered a Lady Suzi and my friend had Give It To Me. We opted for the non-alcoholic ones, but they have an extensive alcoholic menu too. Lady Suzi with its passion fruit and soda was tantalizing and refreshing while Give It To Me was really creamy and delish, thanks to the ice-cream in it, but it was too damn cold.
For starters we had, Zuppa di Cozze, Calamari Alla Griglia and Bruschetta. If you don’t know, Zuppa di Cozze is mussel soup; the broth was really flavourful, but the mussels had a raw fishy taste, even though it was cooked well. The Bruschetta was cheesy and tasty and the Calamari (we opted for the fried calamari, instead of grilled) was warm, crispy and my favourite.
The mains were Diavola Pizza and Scallopa Crema e Funghi. Don’t be frightened by these names, the menu has explanations in English ? and you can always ask the staff, if you’re lost ?
Diavola is a spicy pizza with beef salami, and tomato and chilli pepper sauce. Cooked in the oven with Italian wood, it has a unique flavour and is one of the best pizzas I’ve had till date. Need I say more!!!! The other dish was Chicken Escalope in Mushroom Sauce, served with mashed potatoes and some veggies. The chicken was soft and juicy and the mushroom sauce was creamy but the winner was the pizza!!
A true foodie can never say ‘no’ to Dolci…. Desserts, yaar….so we ended up ordering Tiramisu and Crema Caramellata con Frutti di Bosco. Haha…. I know what you must be thinking ? it’s just a fancy name for Caramel Pudding topped with mixed berries. I’ve never been a fan of coffee-based desserts but this Tiramisu made me change my thoughts. The serving-size is huge and it was truly delicious. The Crème Caramel was pretty decent, and the addition of berries made it a little fancier.
La Vigna is a wonderful place for lunch or dinner and to spend time with family or friends bonding over some yummy Italian food.
