THE BEST RAMEN IN DUBAI !!!!

I recently dined at Makira inside Dusit Thani Dubai, and it was such an amazing experience that I just had to share.

Hands down, they now serve the best ramen for me. I used to love Daikan Ramen, but after their price increase and removing kimchi and bok choy from the ramen, Makira easily became my top choice. The flavors here are rich, comforting, and authentic — every bowl feels thoughtfully prepared and truly satisfying.

A special shout-out to Chef Oliver — Filipino pride! Your cooking is outstanding and full of heart. Also thank you to Vinod, Lily (the wonderful manager), Three, Aksh, Head Chef Jinjo, and Tiya for the warm hospitality and attentive service. You all made the dining experience extra special. I’ll definitely be leaving a great review on Tripadvisor too!

If you’re craving authentic, delicious ramen with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, Makira is a must-visit. Highly recommended — I’ll surely be back!

The Beef Ramen was very delicious.

The prawn sushi was amazing.

The matcha creme brûlée was very bad. Like really bad! The texture , the taste was not creme brulee at all it was more like a cheap 3 dirham grocery dessert.

The waiter was as very attentive and respectful which I highly appreciate that.

Another thing is that they don’t have WiFi! I asked the waiter to give me WiFi and she said she will ask the hotel for the code and she never returned.

Not sure why there is No WiFi in a place we’re these 3 items I got cost 230 dirham but there is no WiFi available.

Loved the fresh maki rolls and flavorful ramen bowls—especially the signature Shou ramen! Authentic Japanese vibes with a modern twist, cozy ambiance, and super friendly service. Aksh was very attentive and service was amazing! Great value and perfect for lunch or casual dinner. Highly recommend! 5/5 ??

I’m a huge ramen fan and was therefore excited to try MakiRa, especially when they have a great value business lunch (AED69 for a ramen and a half roll, when a ramen itself would have cost at least AED65). Strangely, the restaurant doesn’t seem to want people to know about this deal, so I had to specifically ask for it.

Both the tantan men and beef shoyu ramen were pretty good. However there was a very familiar taste that reminded me of instant ramen, albeit the Japanese kind, so I wonder if the restaurant uses instant ramen. Both the signature and dynamite rolls were good too.

The staff was very thoughtful. I had casually indicated in my reservation that I was celebrating a birthday, and they surprised me with a big slice of cake!

They have a deal for unlimited servings (only of tantan men) for just AED59 every Tuesday. Sounds like a steal if you’re a fan of tantan men.

It is such a lovel Friday diner at Makira. The dishes are so delicious more than what we expected. Super tasty sushi, the combination of ingredients is unique, bringing a fresh new image and experience on sushi. Moreover, we are very glad to be served by Aksh and Shri. They are super polite, so dedicated and careful. They always pay attention to our needs and serve us with highly well-train manner. Highly recommend Makira for unique Sushi experience in Dubai.

We came here for a birthday surprise. And everything was soooo worth it. The staff was so kind and hospitable. Big thanks to Aksh, Shree and Kripa, for making this a memorable day.

The food was insanely delicious. The Chefs really know what they are doing??.
My favorites were the tom yum ramen, ebi tempura sushi and katsu curry. Even the drinks were great. We came back a second time and literally ordered the same dishes cos its so good.

Would definitely recommend everyone to try it and I would definitely visit again

We chose Makira, kind of on a whim for our anniversary dinner, just looking for a good sushi place—and we’re so glad we did! It turned out to be one of the best sushi experiences we've had in Dubai.

The atmosphere is calm and elegant, with interiors that feel thoughtfully designed—great for a relaxed evening. We tried the Makira Signature Roll and the Dynamite Roll to start, and both were packed with flavor and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.

For mains, we had the Shake Teriyaki, and the salmon was incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. What really made the night special were Kripa and Mehnaz—super friendly and attentive, they made us feel genuinely welcome.

Prices were very reasonable, which was a nice surprise. We’re already planning to come back soon, especially to try their Tuesday Tan Tan Ramen offer. Highly recommend!
