Shabestan is a restaurant in Dubai, United Arab Emirates serving Iranian and kebabs. Known for Iranian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

I had an absolutely unforgettable experience at Shabestan Restaurant — truly one of the best Iranian dining experiences I’ve ever had.

First of all, the lamb… I can confidently say it was one of the best I’ve ever tried in my life. The meat was unbelievably soft, tender, and perfectly cooked. It literally melted in my mouth. The flavor was rich, authentic, and beautifully balanced with spices — you can taste the quality immediately. This is real, high-level Persian cuisine.

And I have to mention the faloodeh!! So refreshing, perfectly sweet, and authentic. It was the ideal way to finish the meal. The saffron lemonade was also amazing. Such a beautiful touch that complements the richness of the food.

On top of everything, the service made the experience even more special. Our waiter, Anis, was absolutely excellent — so friendly, attentive, warm, and professional. He made us feel genuinely welcome and taken care of. We visited for dinner 23.02.2026.

Overall, Shabestan is easily one of the best Iranian restaurants I’ve visited. From the quality of the lamb to the rice, salads, desserts, and drinks — everything was outstanding. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who appreciates authentic Persian cuisine done perfectly.

I will definitely be coming back.
Highly, highly recommend.

The atmosphere is wonderful and the view is breathtaking. The food is good, but not exceptional (in my personal opinion). The hospitality and service are excellent, but the prices are very high. The restaurant is extremely noisy; I didn't enjoy the food because of the loud music. I hope this will be taken into consideration. Note: They offer a special discount for Esaad card holders.

Absolutely beautiful experience! The food is authentic Iranian, masterfully made by chef Shiraz (third generation running the restaurant!). The view of the Creek and Old Dubai is incomparable. The restaurant different sections both open and closed that allow you to have a unique experience for different occasions and the decor is elegant and traditional. The food is great and here is a good indication for that: besides us, every customer in the restaurant was local! And to close with a flourish delicious Iranian sweets and tea! A big round of applause for the live musician who also helped to make it an unforgettable evening! Five stars to manager Sahar and chef Shiraz for their thoughtful preparation and friendly welcome and interaction with my guests!

Baghalah Polo Ba-Mahichch, tahchin, and greek salad were very nice. Lamb was sooooooo soft. For tahchin, I love the cranberry to make the menu completely amazing. Greek salad was so fresh and feta tastes good and creamy.

It is a must visit, family friendly restaurant for authentic, rich and flavourful persian food, with amazing service and beautiful live music. Absolutely delicious food we want to go back again for.

this 40 year old restaurant has the most comforting vibes with their staff that put you at ease instantly and some of the staff have been there since almost the opening.

Anis, Emily and Kareem were amazing. And we got to chat with the musician as well.
Its like visting a friend’s home and having amazing authentic food.

We had khubideh which was my favorite, lambchops, barge morg and khase bademjan. For dessert we had the faloodeh and persian icecream.
We cannot wait to visit again .

Delicious, masterfully prepared food, excellent service, a very cozy atmosphere, and decent prices.
Our host Elias was polite, helpful, very caring, and showed us great hospitality.

The taste of the food over the years has gone down in my opinion. The kababs are not bad, but nothing to be written about. The service of the servers, the atmosphere and the view of the creek keeps bringing me back.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience at shebastan express I came here for dinner, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The staff Elissa were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I tried the Bangis signature food, and it was a perfect balance of flavors and textures. A new favorite spot, and I will definitely be back!
