Ushna Restaurant is a restaurant in Souq Madinat Jumeriah, Dubai serving Indian, kebabs and street food. Known for Indian dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

We dined with family for the first time in this restaurant specially for their iftar set menu which was curated perfectly and included Ramadan drinks, cut fruits, soup,salad,starter,maincourse curry,Biryani,breads and dessert that too for just 155 dirhms which was perfectly worth the price specially for the premium location like this we would have paid not less then 500 elsewhere. The portion sizes were well balanced and taste and qaulity was delicious.
Everything was served ontime and special request was accomodated for our kids.
Dont miss the sunset view around 5:30 in the evening which was so mesmerizing that we did not want to leave.

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt elegant.
The service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable about every dish, and genuinely passionate about the menu.
Specially thanks to Ms Reshma & Tony.making my Evening very memorable.
Each course was introduced with thoughtful detail, which made the experience feel curated and personal.

Very disappointing Iftar experience. The Iftar menu had very limited options, and the quantity served was quite low. The taste and overall quality of the food were average at best, definitely not worth the price. Since it was a set Iftar menu, we expected timely service, but even then, the food arrived late after ordering, which is unacceptable when people are breaking their fast.

The dates milkshake was completely curdled and undrinkable. The salad was mostly just onions, and when we asked about it, the staff insisted it was a mixed vegetable salad, which was misleading and frustrating.

Overall, this was very poor value for money, and the entire experience was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this place for Iftar.

We had dinner at Ushna with 10 people.  Staff was very kind and helpful.  Service was excellent and food also was vwry delicious. Especially the butter chicken and sala was wonderful. Thanks to Reshma for Amazing

“Amazing food and great quality!”

The food at this restaurant was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Every dish was fresh, well-cooked, and beautifully presented. The taste was rich and authentic, and you can really feel the quality of the ingredients used.

The portions were generous and the food arrived hot and perfectly prepared. From starters to main course, everything was satisfying and enjoyable. You can tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve.

If you are a food lover, this place is definitely worth visiting. I will surely come back again to enjoy more of their amazing dishes! ?️✨

Honestly, I was really disappointed with our overall experience!

Firstly, the parking experience - we awaited valet parking service for almost half an hour to know only at the end from the security guard that valet parking service is available only after 6 PM (for which no sign board was available)! Even the self-parking experience was pathetic! The parking spaces are so narrow that car like Land Cruiser or Nissan Patrol will almost get damaged.

Now, coming to the restaurant experience. It completely lacked the hospitality, ambience and even the food quality!

When we sat, someone came to ask if we ordered and I asked them who gave us the menu at first place?! After that, I had literally go out of my table to find someone and ask if you please take the order! And even the food quality was much below average! Nothing extraordinary against AED 250 which we paid just for 1 soup, 1 main course (sabzi), 2 rotis and 1 mocktail. So, just imagine!

I do NOT recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Thank you and hopefully, this motivates you to improvise!

I had a great time at this Indian restaurant with my guests from Italy. We tried the masala tea, and it was really delicious. The ambience was very nice and made the experience even better. My guests were very happy with the tea. The staff were polite and gave good service. Overall, a lovely place to enjoy Indian tea.
