Fluffy delights to help you get through your day

Even though pancakes and waffles are a perfect breakfast option, you can have them at any time of the day to satisfy your craving. Having a plateful of these delights not only gives a kick start to your day but also elevates your mood throughout the day. While maple and butter are the classic bets for pancakes and waffles, there are so many new flavours out there that will make you drool. We have jotted down a list of cafes serving some of the best pancakes and waffles in Delhi NCR.

New York Cheesecake Pancake @ IHOP, Cyber Hub, Gurgaon

International House of Pancakes, IHOP is an American breakfast chain specializing in pancakes, waffles & more! Experience a true American-style all-day breakfast at this phenomenal eatery! While there is a huge variety of pancakes on the menu, we recommend the New York Cheesecake Pancake topped with flavorful, glazed strawberries. All the pancakes are made with buttermilk, making them some of the fluffiest pancakes in the city. Also, all the pancakes & waffles are eggless. Not only dessert but IHOP also serves some amazing savory delights.

Mixed Berries Pancakes @ Elma's Bakery, Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi

When in Hauz Khas Village, Elma’s is the go-to for a sumptuous stack of American-style pancakes. With a choice of a lot of fillings to choose from, our personal favorite is one with Mixed Berries Compote. This quaint designer bakery is the place to be if you want to get together with someone or even want to lose yourself in your current paperback. Elma’s will provide you with the right backdrop for any kind of occasion. This lovely Hauz Khas Village entrant has fascinated diners since its opening with gorgeous interiors and a delicate Victorian vibe. There is so much to explore that one trip won’t be enough to Elma’s Bakery. A moss-green stairway leads to this charming bakery. It then opens into an airy well-decorated room, which branches into several nooks and corners. Cozy twosome seats are placed all over the place, even next to the stairway, for you to relax in.

Croque Madame Waffles @ Rose Café, Saket, South Delhi

Rose Cafe is as charming as it gets. This small eatery is divided into indoor and alfresco dining, both equally inviting. While the indoor arena makes you feel like you’re in a bakery (with floral walls, furniture colored in pastel hues of pink & blue and excessive use of white in the decor), the alfresco has charming patches of greenery around its periphery. This serene and cozy spot is perfect to relax after spending those hectic hours at work. Choose from a variety of cuisines served here along with some quirky and worth-trying cold beverages. They offer some mouth-watering fluffy waffles. Not all waffles need to be sweet, they serve one of the best savory waffles. Croque Madame Waffle with creamy Bechamel, Ham, Cheese and fried Eggs. Pair those waffles with hot coffee for a complete breakfast experience.

Must Haves: Rose Café Melts, Skinny Pizza, Tangy Lemon Cake, Salted Caramel & Chocolate Tart and Croque Monsieur

Fresh Fruit Pancake @ AMA Café, Majnu ka Tila, New Delhi

This Himalayan concept café was launched in 2013 providing an experience of a mountain city in the heart of Delhi. With its attractive interiors and the ever-prevailing smell of coffee, this cafe is packed on weekends. Their staff are friendly and provide top-notch service for their customers. Ama Café makes all their food fresh daily in their kitchens “from scratch” using the best ingredients & produce. Other than their food the cozy and comfortable seating with a mountain feel is what attracts the youth here. Spread over three floors with wooden-and-stone interiors, Ama has a vibrant vibe. This café does some amazing breakfast dishes that too at very affordable prices. Serving some of the fluffiest pancakes in the city, our favorite is the Fresh Fruit Pancake, which is the one with fresh fruits, whipped cream and maple syrup.
