It is Full Toss @ Monkey Bar, this T20 Season! This T20 season Monkey Bar ‘Full Toss’ brings you live screening of matches, contests and games, a special menu of regionally inspired dishes, amazing deals on cocktails and beers, and a whole lot of fun from April 7- May 27, 2018.
From Kolkata Fish Fry to Hyderabad Monkey Haleem Pav, from Bangalore Raagi Chip Nachos to Delhi Butter Chicken Samosa and Chennai Meen Varuval On Paniyaram, Rajasthan Dahi Pithore and Punjab’s Sarson Di Shammi - dig into a special T20 cricket tournament inspired small plates menu. Throw in a few beers, pitchers of Manga and Mojito and you have a full-fledged party.
Start off with the Mumbai Malvani Chicken And Thaalipeeth Tacos.
Follow that up with some Chennai Pulled Pork on Paniyaram. These went fabulously well with my Toast To Calcutta – Gin, Gondhoraj Cordial and basil.
Followed with some Rajasthan Dahi Ke Pithore (semolina crusted hung curd and gram flour cakes on a bed of green pea masala served with sweet yogurt and date & tamarind chutney).
Then on to something heavier - Delhi’s Butter Chicken Samosa. The samosa was so good that we just had to have another round. The Kolkata Fish Fry is a good choice – a very funky version of fish and chips considering the Potato Bhaja served on the side.
We a little easy next, (or so we thought) with the Punjab Sarson Di Shammi (Sarson and soy cooked with Punjabi garam masala and served with Makai Phulka, Ghee and Aachar).
The Hyderabad Nagarjuna Chilli Chicken Roll packed a spicy punch.
The Bangalore Prawn Chilli Butter Garlic soothed things out.
All of this great food can be paired with some simple yet thoughtful drink options. Choose from 1.5 litres of Mojito or Manga Pitchers or spirits like Old Monk, Bacardi, Ballantine, 100 Pipers, Absolut Vodka. Or simply order a Beer Bucket Of 5. There are also free cocktails for all fans wearing jerseys of their favourite team playing on a particular day and free shots for those wearing the winning team jerseys on that day.
