With the season adding to the festive cheer, it is time for Christmas treats to do the rounds. Be it a store, restaurant or cafe, every place is drenched in the Christmas spirit. Going by the goodies on offer, it is best to shelf diet plans till next year. Here is a quick read on where and what you can get your hands on. 

Christmas cakes and more

As is the tradition, cake mixing took place a month ago with hotels hosting special cake mixing events. And the results of the special festive toss-up are out. If you are looking for traditional Yule Logs and Plum Cakes, then head to the bakery at The Lalit Chandigarh. On offer is a large spread of Christmas specials. If you are looking for a traditional Gingerbread house that is not just sumptuous in taste but looks gorgeous too, then head over to Nik Baker's. The bakery chain is dishing out not just Gingerbread houses but a house full of treats. The Christmas specials here also include Boozy Plum and Log Cakes. Speaking of plum cakes, Let's Go Dutch patisserie is offering its version too.


Perfect to gift this season, the Plum Cake is rich in flavour and ideal for cosy coffee evenings with family over.

We heard someone mention that Christmas is not just an occasion; it is a feeling of bonhomie and festivity. And the festivities sure come rolling in as the holiday season sets in. Taj, Chandigarh has planned a Christmas Gala Gourmet Celebration at Cafe 17 with a special buffet.


What is more, beverages and live music will flow freely and Santa will drop in for a visit. There is also a dinner buffet on Christmas Eve while Christmas Day will host a brunch buffet at Cafe 17.
