For those of us just getting acquainted with this ingredient ‘Matcha’ is a finely ground powder of specially grown green tea leaves, mostly processed and consumed in East Asia. The tea plants are grown in the shade for three to four weeks and then harvested. The shaded growth is what helps the tea pack a mean punch of theanine and caffeine. Currently a trending favourite with chefs and culinary experts, not only as a beverage but as a cooking ingredient as well. So, let's take a look at the best places in Delhi NCR to find these Matcha delights.

The For’est, Vasant Vihar

This rustic Korean bakery/eatery, with the aroma of buttery French toasts and freshly roasted coffee beans wafting through the café, has possibly the cities best Matcha Lattes (Iced or hot) to offer. I would personally recommend a hot latte and the Matcha aromatics are much more prominent at a warm temperature.
