The Delhi street markets are iconically famous not just in the nation but worldwide. These old markets are flocked, especially during the wedding and festive seasons, as people plan special trips for shopping in Delhi. One such place is the Khan Market, shaped by history, where there is a distinct, refined vibe. This quaint U-shaped market is perfect to frolic around throughout the day, window shop, and munch on some amazing food, maybe while reading a book you have just picked from the famous bookstore here, or at least this is what I do. So if you are heading here, this list of my often-visited Khan Market restaurants and my favourite food is just for you.
What makes these places special and worth your while?
Ambience - from cosy to chic, these restaurants have got all aesthetics covered.
Trendy Cuisine- From sushi to boba tea to pav bhaji sliders, you can find all kinds of dishes that are being loved by everyone right now at these Khan Market restaurants.
Socialise or work- these spots welcome every mood; you can unwind, work, or escape.

Green Mantis
Location: Khan Market, Central Delhi
Cost for two: ₹ 2500
Other must-haves: Nyonya Laksa, Pumpkin Gyoza, Midori Roll, Hooteok, Prune Plum Peach
Why Visit: This eatery is simply a heaven for the vegan and vegetarian crowd. Many restaurants around the city serve great East Asian cuisine, but finding the vegetarian or vegan version of these dishes can be a bit difficult. Not at Green Mantis, though, because here you will get every craving sorted. The Nyonya Laksa served at these Khan Market restaurants is a must-try. The noodles dunked in the creamy coconut soup are like comfort in every bite.

The Grammar Room
Location: Khan Market, Central Delhi
Cost for two: ₹ 2100
Other must-haves: Bra-vo Toast, Tokyo Hambagu, Crème Brûlée Pancakes, Affogato Tartine, Cortado
Why Visit: A windy day, a cosy space, a good book recommendation, good coffee and great food - this is my happy space, and I can almost always find it at The Grammar Room. Head here to indulge in the best cookie or any other dessert and coffee pairing you can find in the market. This is one of the Khan Market restaurants that still celebrates a sense of community and provides a space where you can pause to place a comma in the chaos of everyday life.

Fat Lulu's
Location: Khan Market, Central Delhi
Cost for two: ₹ 1300
Must-haves: Queen Hah Neapolitan Pizza, Shake Shake Prawn, Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli, Lamby Burger, Italian Smooch, Giggle Water
Why Visit: Nothing feels better than indulging in some delicious herby carbs after a long shopping streak, and no other place understands this better than Fat Lulu’s. This is one of the Khan Market restaurants that is known for its indulgent Italian cuisine. My favourite pick from this place is the Queen Hah Pizza from their artisanal pizza range. One can never go wrong with this Neapolitan-style pizza; the thin crust is topped with tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella, and basil pairs perfectly. Order a refreshing beverage together to enjoy a great meal.

Choko La
Location: Khan Market, Central Delhi
Cost for two: ₹ 800
Must-haves: Signature Hot Chocolate, Butter Croissant, Chocolate Cruffin, Fudge Cookies, Crunchy French Biscuit
Why visit: This cute little eatery is the perfect pit stop for all things baked, sweet and chocolaty. Choko La is one of the finest chocolate makers in Delhi NCR, and their Signature Hot Chocolate with 75% cacao is one of my favourites. Pair the hot chocolate with a freshly made butter croissant for a warm, flaky bite that perfectly complements the rich cocoa. This is one of the Khan Market restaurants that brings authenticity to their process and thus, amazing delicacies to your plate.

Cafe Delhi Heights
Location: Khan Market, Central Delhi
Cost for two: ₹ 2200
Must-haves: White sauce Alfredo Patsa
Why visit: If you want to enjoy a calm lunch or an early dinner in the market, I’ll always recommend Cafe Delhi Heights. The wooden furniture and the sunlight flooding in through the big windows give a warm and cosy vibe to the space. This is one of the Khan Market restaurants that is famous for giving its own twist to popular dishes. The Paneer Tikka Masala Pizza and Delhi Burger are crowd favourites, but my personal pick is the Pasta Alfredo. For me, this classic dish, with just the right amount of cream and mushrooms, is the perfect comfort food option.
Tips to choose well
Look up the restaurants online or on reservation portals before visiting, as a few outlets may require reservations, and some, like the Grammar Room, do not take reservations at all.
Some eateries also host events and activities on certain dates; check the websites for the same.
Choose a place that suits your vibe and ambience requirements.
Wrapping It Up
So if you are out, strolling around in Khan Market, whether to window shop or maybe on a photowalk, you are bound to be hungry at some point. And when cravings strike, I hope that in this list of Khan Market restaurants, you can find your perfect pit stop to enjoy amazing food and cosy ambience.
