Coffee might not have originated in India, but it is made and relished a lot by Indians. From filter coffee to several flavours like Mocha, Hazelnut and much more, everyone has their own favourite. I have grown up drinking coffee unlike kids of my age who use to devour Bournvita and Horlicks, so my love for coffee is often referred to as addiction. Here is a list of places you can head to when you are craving caffeine.

Depaul's

The first place that comes to my mind when I want a quick fix. This one is a small take away outlet in various parts of the city, popular for their pre-made instant bottle of coffee. Their coffee is light on the belly and pocket too! You can pair their coffee with a Kathi Roll, the two things they are well-liked for.

The Big Chill

This Italian eatery is famous for its well-made Italian delicacies and thick shakes. Their cold coffee is more like a sinful shake with strong coffee flavours blended with ice cream and milk. Recently, Big Chill has introduced a Coffee Oreo Shake which will surely make you drool! You can accompany your coffee with their cheesy and soft Garlic bread.

Another Fine Day

This rustic looking café with brick walls and ambient lighting is a great place to be on weekends or ever hectic weekdays. Their Iced Frappe is a classic cold coffee with strong coffee flavours and well blended with milk and ice. For something different, the Hazelnut Coffee seals the deal. You can pair your coffee with Cheesy Nachos or Healthy Hummus.

This another take away joint in Delhi, serves Cold coffee with big bold flavours. With an option of adding ice cream, they do customise it as per your liking. They offer a cup of hot cappuccino which is as good as their cold coffee, especially in a chilly weather. You can pair your coffee with Tandoori Momos, which is slightly spicy and are served with an unusual tangy chilli sauce.

You might have visited them for a Parsi feast, but their infamous cold coffee can beat quite a few coffee shops. It's rich and strong flavours will surely please your taste buds. You can accompany this glass of goodness with their Tomato Cheese Macaroni or Chicken Chili Cheese Pao.

This pretty café lit with fairy lights and adorned with several planters is a must-visit. Popular for their Italian delicacies, they offer delicious thick shakes too. The Cold Coffee is served in a large sized glass and the flavours are soul satisfying. You can opt to add homemade Vanilla or Chocolate gelato and make it indulgent.

Blue Tokai Coffee Roasters

If cold does not work for you, then this place is apt for a hot cup of coffee. This coffee roaster and café brew magic. Blue Tokai is a cosy and comforting café nestled in the lanes of Saidulajabad. Though their coffee is available in several cafes in the city, their coffee is best relished in this quaint ambience. Do try the Mocha; it is made with handmade organic chocolate. They also have several milk options, for those who are lactose intolerant.
