Whether it’s for a celebration or for just pure indulgence the conventional layered cake is still the dessert of choice. The emergence of more modern edgy desserts hasn’t impacted its popularity. A well-portioned decadent slice or cake is always too difficult to say no to!

Sucre - Chocolate and Baileys

The chocolate cake is moistened with Baileys and layered with Bailey’s buttercream. This Irish dream, infused with two ingredients, is truly unforgettable and sinful. The finish is of course flawless, glossy and picture perfect.

Elma’s - Red Velvet

This eatery with oodles of quirky character has been triumphant in producing some of the city’s best scones and meringue tarts. The decadent red velvet cake with more than five layers of cream cheese frosting clearly steals the show and scores especially high on presentation and taste.

Sweet Obsession – Rocky Road

The wafting aromas of freshly baked bread and brownies lead you straight to this café/ bakery. Though they have a large variety of confectionaries to choose from like brownie cupcakes, New York cheese cake and peanut butter ice cream, the Rocky Road Slice is by far one of the most luscious desserts you will ever have here. It is a perfect play on textures with the soft marsh mellow, gooey ganache and crunchy praline.

Angels in My Kitchen – Rainbow Cake

This is a retail bakery & patisserie chain with a total of nine outlets in Delhi NCR which aims to provide the best of bakery and confectionery at reasonable prices. They do some great breads and boulangerie items along with their normal cakes, pastries and cupcakes. The unanimously favoured and renowned pastry here is the signature rainbow cake. It is a refreshing burst of vibgyor, layered with creamy snow white icing. Love it for the layers!

L’Opera – Opera Cake

This high-end French bakery and confectionery, run by a French family, is armed with highly skilled chefs and quality ingredients. They create some of the best confectioners delights and country-wide famous macaroons here. Apart from the much favoured macaroons people also come from far off places to try the signature Opera cake which comprises of moist almond sponge, coffee and chocolate.
