An Italian restaurant located besides the pool – Il Camino, with its rustic Italian décor, accentuated by the large French windows and beautiful wall murals, transports one to a small eatery in Italy. The circular shaped restaurant greets you with a pizza oven, which forms the heart of the establishment. Italian specials include thin curst pizzas, pastas, ravioli etc. Also known as ‘the chimney’ in Italian, it plays its part as the namesake. The panna acida é prosciutto (sour cream and ham on a rye base) is an instant palate pleaser. A must-have on the menu is the filetto alla griglia in pepper jus and Parmagiano melon – a succulent steak, followed by the salmone Atlantico – a seared Atlantic salmon and king prawns, with a saffron risotto cake and herb butter sauce. Sign off this unique dining experience with the chocolate ravioli.
