A restaurant that is as welcoming as its name – 'Welcome' in Chinese is what Wan Hao stands for. One is greeted by the antique opium bed that holds the pride of place in the centre of the restaurant. The ambience reflects a golden hue which promotes a feeling of anticipation as you sit down to dine. The tables are laid for a ‘fine-dine’ experience draped in white table cloths, elegance personified. The menu has a judicious mix to cater to the tourists as well as the local palate. The menu has a lot of variety. Try the crispy crab cake accompanied with sweet chilli dip with crunchy peanuts or for the vegetarians the dong gu tofu. The chefs have worked on an inspired dessert – the buttery pineapple heaven served with vanilla bean ice cream. A serene place for an intimate evening.
