About Waterfront Terrace and Bar, Goa Marriott Resort & Spa
Some restaurants pride themselves on hitting the right spot, with their fabulous cooking and even more fantastic ambience. They are what we call ‘a perfect package’. Combined with the perfect location to flawless service to a lip-smacking menu, these restaurants pack quite a culinary punch. On the busy coast of Panaji lies a spectacular luxurious hotel, The Marriott and being located at Miramar Beach, the hotel sees a lot of action. It’s a popular buzzing place invaded by holiday seekers and locals alike. Marriott’s all-day dining venture ‘Waterfront’, is something special. It remains operational all through the day into the weary hours of the night. It’s especially popular with the guests, who like to come in after a long day at the beach or from a party, in hopes for a warm meal before hitting the bed.
Waterfront is placed beautifully, right beside Miramar Beach so you have the gorgeous view of the Arabian Sea at all times. It certainly adds to the experience when you get to admire the restless waves impatient to crash the shores. As the evening falls and you are sitting on the open terrace of Waterfront, enveloped in a cool sea breeze, watching the dark ocean twinkling under the moon, you get a sense of peace wash over you. Such is the magic of Waterfront. The restaurant in itself is contemporarily designed, including the bright vibrant furniture in red and green to a lovely muralled wall. The room is lit sharply by geometric shaped lamps hanging overhead. You are waited upon hand and foot throughout the evening. But the best place is out on the open terrace where you get the true gist of Goa.
Waterfront is an expensive and global fine dining restaurant, with a menu that covers a lot of base, including North-Indian, Asian and Continental cuisines. You can begin your day with Waterfront by opting for their lavish breakfast or choose to try out the appetizers section. Take advantage of their fully stocked bar before heading towards the appetizers, which entails, subz shammi kebabs, truffle scented wild mushroom soup, rawa fried squids, beet salad, tandoori pomfret, apple & smoked salmon and dahi pudina tikki. Fill yourself with mains like, pizzas, sandwiches, pasta, burgers, grilled tiger prawns, risotto, paneer butter masala, pomfret recheado, goan curry and pan seared chicken breast. Say adios to Waterfront on a sweet note with a plethora of desserts.
