Arena is the coffee shop and all-day dining restaurant at Taj Deccan, Banjara Hills, one of the oldest star hotels in Hyderabad. Located at the lobby level, it has an extremely pleasing ambience with a waterfall amidst rocks at one end of the restaurant. The atrium-style design allows you to see all floors of the hotel sitting right at this restaurant. The buffet breakfast here is known for its live counters dishing out some delicious South Indian fare like dosas and uttapams. The Sunday Brunch is an elaborate affair with a huge spread and many live counters. The a-la-carte lunch and dinner menu is short but comprehensive with dishes from all over the world. 'Slow Roasted Chicken' and 'Grilled Tenderloin Fillet' are some dishes worth a look. We loved the 'Coffee Pannacotta' served as the sugar-free dessert of the day. Service is usually adequate but can be slow at times.
