A North Indian restaurant in Jubilee Hills, especially known for its Mughlai and Awadhi food, with some Punjabi as well as Kashmiri items also on the menu. The first thing that you notice as you enter through the antique door is a huge kadhai hung from the ceiling. The interiors are traditionally fashioned like a North Indian haveli and impressively done up in brown and blue colours, with old photographs adorning the walls. Their 'Paya Shorba' stands out among the soups they serve. From the tawa section, of their menu, soft and delicate 'Kakori Kababs' is something which I usually order, whereas the 'Asli Gilouti' served with 'Ulte Tawa Ka Paratha' is decent too. 'Khumbh ke Shammi' is one of their signature vegetarian dishes, along with 'Dal Qureshi' and 'Chowk ki Peeli Dal'. Other items of note are 'Nalli Taar Korma', 'Murgh Lababdar' and 'Nargisi Kofta'. Do have their 'Phirni Kesaria' to end the meal.
