Haldi, the gourmet Indian restaurant at Novotel Hyderabad Airport, is open only for dinner. With an open kitchen on one side, it has a private dining area for groups apart from usual seating. The restaurant serves select Indian dishes, some with a contemporary touch. Thus you have delicacies from ranging from 'Bhartha Amritsari' to 'Rara Gosht' and 'Dum Aloo Banarasi'. The loyal customers root for their kababs which are extremely well prepared and presented. My favourites among these are the 'Anjeer Dahi Ka Kabab' (yoghurt kababs stuffed with figs), 'Sarson Ke Subz' ( assorted vegetables in a mustard and yoghurt based marination) and 'Lazeez E Chaap' (lamb chops marinated in select spices and cooked in a tandoor). From the main courses, you can never go wrong with dishes like the 'Rajasthani Lal Maas' and 'Malabar Fish Curry'. Service is extremely attentive here.
