Kritunga Restaurant

Visited this restaurant twice and had a consistently good experience.
I ordered miriyala kodi soup, ragi mudda, natu kodi pulusu, a chicken starter, and jonna roti — all of which were delicious.

The service was prompt, and the staff were attentive. The ambiance was also nice. Overall, a very satisfying experience.

Kritunga Restaurant – The Rayalaseema Cuisine | Google Maps Review
క్రితుంగా రెస్టారెంట్ – ద రాయలసీమ కుసిన్
Kritunga Restaurant is a well-established dining destination known for its authentic Rayalaseema and Andhra cuisine, especially famous for its spicy flavors, rich gravies, and traditional regional dishes. It is a popular choice among locals and visitors who enjoy robust, fiery South Indian fare in a comfortable and welcoming setting.
? Food & Flavors:
Kritunga’s menu features classic Rayalaseema specialties such as Boti curry, Kodi Pulao, traditional Andhra biryani, and spicy curries. The dishes are prepared with generous spices and authentic regional recipes that deliver bold and memorable tastes. Vegetarian options like Gongura dishes, pappu, and vegetable curries are also flavorful and well-balanced.
?️ Signature items often appreciated by diners include spicy chicken and mutton curries, garlic naan, and traditional rice meals. The portion sizes are hearty and satisfying, making it a great place for family meals, lunch with friends, or a special ethnic dining experience.
? Ambience & Setting:
The restaurant offers warm, casual indoor seating with a relaxed atmosphere. Interiors are clean and decent, suitable for families, casual diners, and groups. The layout supports comfortable dining without feeling crowded, and the overall environment is welcoming.
?‍? Service & Experience:
Service is generally attentive and helpful, with staff willing to guide guests through the menu, especially if they are trying Rayalaseema dishes for the first time. Food is served fresh, and the pace is good even during busier hours.
? Value:
Kritunga offers good value for money, with generous portions and authentic regional flavors. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and richness of the cuisine.
✨ Overall Impression:
Kritunga Restaurant – The Rayalaseema Cuisine is a must-visit for lovers of spicy Andhra and Rayalaseema food. It combines authentic flavors, hearty portions, and a welcoming ambience, making it a favorite choice for traditional South Indian meals.

We went to this place for lunch as it was near to our office. We ordered baby corn Manchuria, chicken roast, Rayalaseema chicken fry, vellulli fish fry, ragi sangati and Natukodi pulusu. Service is very slow. Quantity and quantity of the food is very much disappointing. Chicken roast was hard and didn’t taste fresh. Chicken fry was also very bad and the fish starter was the worst of all. Fish pieces were not at all fresh and they were stinky. Sangati was cold and Natukodi pulusu was average in taste and the pieces were chewy. Only the baby corn dish was good. Overall it’s a bad experience and I will not visit this place again.

1. Confused staff. We order something
Something else is served. Too many people handle one table which creates chaos.
2. Veg served on ordering Non Veg.
3. Mouth burns and food spoils the stomach since the food is burning hot and spicy.
3. Serving drinking water is a mandate. Yet they don't serve driving water on the table and compel us to buy water.

Kurnool fried wings are very good in taste, it's so fried the flavor is very good, both the quality and quantity are very good.

Prawns Biryani the rice does not have the flavor of biryani and the prawns taste is that good needs to be improved a lot.

The ambiance is very good and well maintained. Service is very good. Prices are very reasonable.

Ample parking space.

The worst food ever.. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Better have food elsewhere. I’d say even a road side food cart maintains good quality than here.

I don't think this is the Krutinga taste and fresh food they served, cold food may be afternoon one only butternon is good Krutinga spl biryani is worst taste less

Worst experience at this Kritunga branch.
The mutton biryani was soggy, served completely cold, and extremely spicy. The overall quality and serving were very disappointing.
I usually don’t write reviews, but this was my first time doing so because of how dissatisfied I felt. Definitely not the experience I expected.
