From the moment I stepped into Papaya Restaurant, I was completely captivated by its warm and inviting ambiance. The atmosphere is beautifully designed—relaxing, stylish, and perfect for a memorable meal.

But the real stars of the show were the food and the service! I ordered the Som Tam Salad and the Fragrant Crispy Chilli Fried Rice (veg), and both dishes were absolutely phenomenal. The Som Tam was fresh, tangy, and packed with authentic flavors, while the crispy chilli fried rice was an explosion of taste and texture—perfectly cooked and wonderfully aromatic.

A special shout-out to Chotan, who provided exceptional service. He was attentive, courteous, and went above and beyond to make our dining experience delightful. His hospitality truly added a personal and welcoming touch to the evening.

Overall, Papaya Restaurant excels in every aspect—food, service, and ambiance. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delicious offerings. If you’re looking for an amazing culinary experience with heartfelt hospitality, this is the place to be!

Although the service is top notch, the price of food is not justified for the taste and most importantly quantity. I understand the high price and low quantity for foods which have imported goods, but serving portions of simple chicken items being so small is not enjoyable.
Quality of drinks were great.
Gin based cocktails were top notch.

I recently dined at this Asian restaurant and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and welcoming.
We ordered:
1. chilly oil chicken dimsum
2. Sushi spicy prawn tempura
3. Salt and pepper Fish
4. Fragrant sea food Fried rice
5. Katsu chicken ramen bowl
The staff Rajesh attended us and is very friendly, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations, which really helped enhance the experience.
Prices were high for sea food and reasonable for remaining which was worth the quality,and the service was prompt without feeling rushed. Overall, this is a fantastic spot if you’re craving authentic, delicious Asian cuisine. I’d definitely visit again and highly recommend it to others.

My experience at Pa Pa Ya started on a disappointing note even before I sat down. The mandatory check-in process requires scanning a QR code that redirects you to WhatsApp, effectively collecting your phone number without offering an alternative option. Being denied entry without participating felt unnecessarily intrusive from a data privacy standpoint. Restaurants should reconsider whether such practices are truly essential, as they can make guests feel uncomfortable rather than welcomed.

Moving on to the food, I ordered the katsu ramen bowl, which unfortunately did not meet expectations. From a culinary perspective, serving fried katsu fully immersed in hot ramen broth felt counterintuitive. The defining feature of katsu is its crisp, crunchy coating, and submerging it in soup quickly softens the texture, removing the contrast that makes it enjoyable. While fusion interpretations can be interesting, this execution felt confusing rather than intentional.

Additionally, the dish was quite expensive for what was served — the portion contained very few noodles, making the overall value feel lacking. The curry element also did not resemble a traditional katsu curry in flavour or balance, which added to the sense that the dish lacked clarity in concept.

Overall, the experience felt mismatched between pricing, execution, and guest experience. I appreciate experimentation in modern Asian dining, but here it came at the cost of both culinary logic and customer comfort.
