This is a concept restaurant run by Deaf Enabled Foundation, an NGO, which has a mission of empowering people with hearing and speech impairment. All the servers are hearing and speech impaired and they communicate with you in sign language. This is not a place where you go just to enjoy the food. It is a place to get a richer overall experience of communicating without speaking, and getting a peek into the world of differently abled persons, however, in case you find it difficult to communicate, they have one person among the staff who can speak and hear to help you. Ask for the handy flipbook with signs for common items like sauce, water and salt. Use that and the educative instructions on the table mat to communicate with the staff. The wall also has posters explaining sign language alphabets and common expressions like “Thank you” and “Excuse Me”. The menu too has unique signs next to each dish, which the customer has to communicate while placing the order. While this may sound difficult, the whole experience becomes unbelievably simple with the help of the warm and friendly staff. Some of their tandoori items like ‘Paneer Malai Tikka’ and ‘Murgh Reshmi Kabab’ are worth trying out. The Chinese dishes are quite spicy and not authentic.
This place runs by deaf and dumb. They talk about their feelings by hands only. After going to this place you will get inner peace after seeing their happy faces. They aren’t privileged of many things we have but still we always have to make excuses and being sad. We ordered Chicken Chatpata, Veg Biryani and Double ka meetha with vanilla ice cream. We really liked the food except double ka meetha. Excellent customer service and eye soothing atmosphere. I wish I could visit you guys soon. Lots of love.
This was a very nice restaurant, with very friendly staff and great food. Get a few different plates and share. If you are in the area, you should check this place out. Don't worry if you don't know how to sign. Just take your time and the waiters will help you get everything you want. I will definitely eat here the next time I am in the area. Wonderful initiative.
This is purely for the experience that you get when you are here. The people who serve here are absolutely deaf and mute and they communicate via sign language! This theme restaurant has really impressed us and stood as one of the unique restaurants in town. It's fun learning the sign language and ordering in that manner. It is very spacious and simply done.We got extremely warm welcome by the staff-- We ordered Paneer Tika, Veg Nizami Handi, Fresh Lime Soda & Butter Roti --The food is simply amazing, The waiters are so humble and observant they'll just come to your service when you need them. Very happy to recommend it and would visit again soon.
