
Tuscany is the Italian restaurant at The Trident Hyderabad. Designed as a Tuscan villa with terracotta flooring, the restaurant offers select dishes from different regions of Italy. Apart from the well-prepared Italian non-vegetarian food, the restaurant does justice to the needs of the vegetarians too. A case in point is the 'Mushroom Cappuccino', a thick soup with espresso foam. The non-vegetarians should opt for the 'Prawn and Lobster Bisque' served with cherry tomatoes. 'Tuna Carpaccio' and 'Home Smoked Norwegian Salmon' are some of the fish starters which are worth going for. For pizzas, you can opt for traditional hand-rolled or whole wheat ones. 'Chlorophyll Pizza' (with a topping of asparagus, broccoli, edamame and pesto sauce) and the 'Italian Pepperoni Pizza' will not disappoint you. The pasta choices are no less good, 'Porcini and Parmesan Ravioli' and 'Tagliatelle with Grilled Lobster' being the top picks among these. For desserts, I suggest 'Mango and Basil Pannacotta' and 'Tiramisu'. Service is very good without being intrusive.
