We tried a few during our stay.Chef amith heads the conti section.Chef nirmal heads as senior sous chef. Dalbafla:This dish comes from indore.This is very rich.It is made in whole wheat flour(bafla)& semolina flour in proportion.The dough is made in clarified butter.Then its boiled in steaming water.Afterwhich its either shallow or deep-fried in clarified butter. Dal:This is made with pigeon peas.Simple spices like turmeric,redchillipowder and strong hint of garlic.Topped with dollop of desi ghee. Amer sev tamatar sabzi:This is very popular in dhabhas.This is knwn as ameri sev.This is made with tomatoes & onion gravy.Tangy.The spice is from the sev.With a right hint of redchilli,turmeric,coriander leaves Dal khichdi:This is delicious and very comforting.Made with split green gram and rice.Onion,cinnamon,cardomon & whole spices powder and ginger jullienes. Asian:They hv two chefs who make stellar asian & thai. Waterchestnut corn dimsums:This has canned waterchestnut with hint of corn.Crunchy flavourful Basil wrap veg dimsum:This has the delicate flavours of basil in the plain flour dough in which the stuffing is with a medley of vegetables. Vegetable salt n pepper Crunchy medley of assortment of exotic vegetables.The pepper isnt over-powering.Its coated in corn-flour and rice flour.Vinegar,soysauce,blackpepper r the primary flavours.Easy on the palate. Stuffed steam buns in mushroom:This is our fav.U cant just stop drooling.The buns are fluffy,light.The stuffing is with julliened mushrooms slathered in hoisin sauce.If ur dough is soft and elastic u get soft buns. Veg green medley:Rightly so.With loads of garlic.Crunchy and healthy.Brocolli,asparagus,zuchini,capsicum. Thai green curry:Not fiery.The galangal,kaffirlimes,coconut milk are just right amt.Perfectly spiced.Medley of vegetables.Enjoy an authentic and delicious thai curry Sticky rice:Grown in south east and east asia.This has low amylose content and tht makes it sticky when cooked. Konji:Is a type of rice porridge.Mild.With condiments like chilliflakes,springonion,caramalized onions,ginger Millet Roti:Millet a popular grain in rajasthan.This was made with finely cut onions,greenchillies,coriander.Satisfying! Conti:MintAppleSaffronSoup:Healthy well being soup.Apple adds the zing,mint makes it fresh & saffron adds the richness and lucky u.me tht this dsnt hv a potato added to make it thick so thoughtful.The sourcream is wondorous on top. Spinach spanakopita:Is a greek savoury pastry.The traditional stuffing involves spinach,feta,onions.Light,crisp. Cheese Almond Cuppie:Of all the quiche i hv eaten french version is my fav and this nails it.The combination of gd gruyere cheese with cream nails it.Ofcourse the cheats way out is the readymade crust,but for such a fine dish tht is easily forgotten.STELLAR! JalapenoCheeseLolipop:Soft from inside with just perfect blend of black pepper hint of garlic powder with the cheese.Not oozing out at all.Just how it should be.Where the guilt is max minimum.Loved it! CottageCheeseStuffedSteak:This has the cottage cheese grilled to perfection.This has puree of brocolli.Mild & delightful. Tomato pepper couli:Is our wonderful caponata.This has garlic,onion,pepper,tomato,italian seasonings and cooked thru red winevinegar!Who wants? Trio Of Canelloni:This is super-inventive.This has 3 varients. Redpepper:In this the pepper is slow-roasted after which its boiled and pureed and mixed in flour and kneaded.The stuffing is of cheese with black pepper.The smokiness hits u like u are indulging in mock-meat. Yellowpepper:Same as above. Spinach:Here we boil the spinach and the smokey flavour here is where the chefs genius at play comes in picture.The flavour is smokey & how.In the trio the cheese sauce with cheese stuffing is bang on. 3Types Of Ravioli:Multigrain:This is made with healthy grain.The stuffing in this is brocolli & black pepper. PearMillet:This has again healthy grain with clrd peppers and black pepper SpinachRicotta:The regular spinach with cream cooked together with pepper and ricotta which binds it together. These are the breakfast section dishes! Whole wheat paratha,paneer paratha,onion paratha,gobi paratha r choices offered in breakfast.They also step-up to offer millet grain flat bread,chaas at breakfast. AlooPeasVegetable,paneer bhurji,pavbhaji are choices and few more to savour in breakfast. They also do a spl menu the classiques hailing from parisian pattiserie:chocolate,cafe,jalebi,kesar elaichi.Do give it try.U wont regret. Dinners Be Like This PurdahBiryani:This is air-cooked biryani.The biryani cooks in its own juices of vegetables.The vessel is sealed with with elastic dough.Technique was familiar in royal kitchens.The biryani is aromatic.The first flavour the reaches is saffron and the amalgamtion of secret whole spices which each chef has his own.The yogurt,lemon juice give it its zesty taste Harabharakebab:This is made with boiled spinach and hung curd and hint of green chillies after which its deepfried!Nice Galoutikebab:I meant veg galouti veg kebabs & if they r pure veg nothing like it.This is soft melt-in the mouth.The flavours of whole roasted spices powdered taste is there but not-overpowering.Fried brown onions,ginger,garlic paste,greenchillies & sm gram flour for binding is used.The flavours cm in from a medley of vegetables cooked in qty as thts wht gives the reqd punch. QuinoaKebab:Quinoa is a tiny grain tht cooks like rice.This has a nutty flavour,this has potato and gramflour for binding.Also a medley of vegetables are used & ginger,garlic,greenchilli flavours enhance the taste. Moongdalhalwa:This is rich,delicious.Tastes divine.This has flavours of saffron coming thru.Ghee makes it rich.And so does thickened milk. Kathiroll:This is tongue-tickling.It has shreds of capsicum,onions squeezed with lemon,well marinated paneer is whole spices & redchilli powder. So this is the summary of the wonderful treat tht awaits u at the latest recipes. Kudos to the entire Service team led by F&B Manager Rakesh Pandey for their outstanting and attentive service. Latest Recipe offers one of the best breakfast buffet experiences of any five star hotel in the city. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and the chefs at Latest Recipe ensure that it is also the tastiest. I’ve always preferred a light and spare meal at the beginning of the day but the sheer amount of mouth-watering items available made me fill up like it was my last day on Earth. The variety isn’t lacking in any way either. For the first time, I ate Rajasthani food in a five-star restaurant that didn’t taste like it was made for someone who is allergic to spices. It retained all the texture you’d expect of the real thing without compromising on the hot stuff. The selection of breads and cheeses is amazing and so is the Lebanese counter, where you can have a go at making your own pita pockets. There are also many gluten free options (including muffins), which is something you rarely get to see in India. The dosa, while not amazing (it’s impossible to get that particular taste north of the Vindhyas), is unique enough to warrant a try. All of this is complemented by the beautiful ambience, and makes Le Meridien a top choice for any tourist coming to visit Jaipur
We had 5 star dining experience at the Latest Recipe restaurant of Le Meridien resort in Jaipur. The place is huge and luxurious. The seating was very comfortable. The buffet spread for both Dinner and breakfast was amazing. Food taste, quality and presentation was excellent. Service was also very prompt and courteous. Enjoyed the special meal with friends.
Came here for lunch for my girlfriends birthday.I have booked it through nearby which I have requested fr a surprised birthday pastries after the lunch for her. We had a wonderful lunch the restaurant was empty at that which give us little privacy to spend together. The staff was amazing attending to ever detail and request we needed . Cherry on top just after everything is over a small chocolate pastries and candle was presented in front of her which I did not even mention it to them . Thank you for the staff for making a memorable moment for both of us will be back again soon
Last year I visited this place, staff was so quick in getting things done. I was so amazed by the service & quality of food. Highly recommendable for the people who are visiting Jaipur this winter's. This place is on my priority when I will visit India.
