Located in ITC Rajputana Hotel. It has simple interiors with the hint of black-orange colour and ambient lighting. The seating arrangements are done in Mudda style which can be a little uncomfortable for some people. The restaurant specialises in serving delectable North Indian cuisine. Pair up their signature 'Dal Bukhara' with a soft 'Butter Naan'. For desserts, 'Rasmalai' is a divine.
The only thing we regret is not having dinner here twice (instead of 1 time). We were lucky to still get our hands on a table on Valentines Day. You can immediately see you are dining in a 5 star hotel restaurant, with the most professional and polite staff. They really want you to enjoy every part of your dining experience. We started with cocktails, which were the best we tasted in India. As a main course we both decided not to order Dahl since we’ve already had Dahl every single day during our trip, sometimes even twice a day. While we made other menu choices the waiter insisted on ordering their Dahl anyway. And thankfully we did! It was even 10 times better than our main dishes, which were already delicious and definitely “fine dining food”. Absolutely a must go when visiting Jaipur, you will not regret it!
Peshwari is situated in the ITC hotel and as far as hotel restaurants go this one is very good. We’re the type of people who rarely eat in hotels. But when in a city such as Jaipur it’s even more difficult to identify good restaurants near to the hotel. The food was actually very good. We had delicious leg of lamb and the Aloo was equally as interesting and good. We sat next to the kitchen and saw chefs cooking in tandoor. Interesting and inspiring. We had to do some table hoot to find a comfortable table but once we’ve settled it was good. Don’t be fooled it is very expensive!
Located in the ITC Rajputana Hotel in Jaipur and tucked away on the basement level, Peshawri offered those of us unfamiliar with "northern frontier" cuisine a rewarding adventure. I had what I must say was simply the best chicken dish I have ever eaten - chunks of chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, then grilled and served with various accompaniments but no utensils. It was insanely delicious. And although it was another "dry day" evening, the server said he would "see what he could do" to accommodate us (since we were obviously non-Indians) so we were able to enjoy beer and wine with our meals. If you're in Jaipur, find your way here!
Having eaten at a restaurant of the same name at ITC in Mumbai we had expectations. They were fully met. Located in the lower ground floor the decor is traditional the welcoming is warm and the ovens are hot. Specialising in breads cooked on the side of the dome shaped ovens this is gourmet traditional cooking. Eating with your fingers you will be delighted by the food. Quality at a 5 star price
Visited peshwari with my friend for evening dinner, ambience over here is very good. Server Mohit was very attentive and courteous Mr Sanwarmal the restaurant manager looked after us very well. Food prepared by the chefs(hayat, jashbeer and jaspal) was to die for..!! Thanks to everyone.
