?✋?Very Disappointed – Poor Quality & Misleading Claims

We are extremely disappointed with the service and food quality at Barkaas Restaurant, Kanpur.

We ordered Monchow Shorba, but what was served to us was clearly not Monchow soup (photos of the invoice and soup are attached as evidence). When we called the cash counter to raise the issue, the person casually said the waiter was new and replaced it with another soup — yet we were still charged for Monchow Shorba. This is unprofessional and unacceptable.

We also ordered Mandi and Kabsa, as your team claimed these are your specialties. Having lived in the Gulf and traveled across Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Oman — and currently residing in Qatar for the past 6 years — I can confidently say this was one of the worst versions of Mandi and Kabsa I have ever had. The taste, aroma, and authenticity were completely missing.

If you are promoting authentic Arabic cuisine, please ensure you have a proper Arabic chef and maintain quality standards. Serving low-quality food under the name of traditional dishes is misleading customers.

I sincerely request management to improve quality and transparency. And to fellow customers — please be cautious before visiting.

Very disappointing experience.
