Food

Shor

Shor is a restaurant in Swaroop Nagar, Kanpur serving Chinese, North Indian and Italian. Known for Chinese dishes; ideal for family meals and group outings.

An average place in terms of vibe and also the menu was a little at the higer side which could be reviewed once by the management.
Otherwise location is good and you will enjoy

The experience at Shore Pub and Bar in Kanpur has become increasingly synonymous with unprofessionalism and systemic billing malpractice. A primary concern is the staff's blatant misbehavior and lack of basic hospitality; guests are often met with a dismissive or outright hostile attitude that creates an uncomfortable dining environment. Most distressingly, the establishment appears to be intentionally disregarding confirmed Zomato bookings. Despite the platform’s clear promises of discounted pricing, the management frequently refuses to honor these rates at the time of payment.
To exacerbate this, there are frequent reports of overcharging, where final bills reflect amounts significantly higher than the actual menu prices or the agreed-upon totals. This combination of "hidden" charges and the refusal to accept digital platform discounts feels like a predatory tactic rather than a service-oriented business model. For a venue in a prominent location like Swaroop Nagar, the lack of transparency and the abrasive conduct of the team are unacceptable. Potential patrons should be wary of these financial inconsistencies and the poor standard of etiquette currently being practiced.

The food and ambience was good, we ordered grilled chicken which was soft and juicy. Butter chicken in main course was also good, naan was bit chewy. We didn't like the music, it was too loud/shrill and irritating. Service was also good.

It's a nice place mainly for those who love drink and dance both at the same time. But one thing I like say that place is not so reasonable. Otherwise ambiance is nice, interior is very nice. This place is good for couples, friend as well as family. Must visit this place atleast once.

One of the most renowned lounges in the city...
this lounge is based on Bollywood theme and I am quite impressed with the ambience and the sound quality in the lounge. The dj plays amazing songs which will make u tap your feet
If I talk about the food , the food tastes good and the flavours are also perfect
though I went there for a school party so I didn't pay over there so can't judge for the prices
but yeah it's a must visit place...

Well amongst all the longe and bar in kanpur I found this one the best "personal favorite".
✅Great food
✅Great service
✅Good music
✅Amazing crowd
✅Won't hurt to your pocket
✅Definitely a place to hangout not relax but dance your heart out and have fun over the weekend kind a place.
?No hukka available.

Amazing Experience and the DJ was also Rock the floor, Food quality and quantity were also superb and if you make a weekend plan so go and visit fast.
Highly Recommendable place??

The DJ was best and the service was nice. Located in a comfortable area atop a shopping mall. They serve papad as complementary with beer. We had chicken 65 which was great. The food included all the costs of the light, services, sound and ambience. The counter was well lit. The washrooms were decent and clean. The dance floor is okay. The chairs are comfortable. Sofas are also there for group parties. There is also a dedicated smoking room like in the airports. It is around 9 km from IIT Area and is in the vicinity of Harshnagar.
