This 56-seater is the Indian specialty restaurant at Myx, the eponymous penthouse nightclub (one of the hottest in the city) that occupies the top two floors of the building (that used to be Sourav’s) off Park Street. It is a good-looking place done in shades of gold and ivory complemented with woodwork, plush seating and a pretty glass wall fountain. The menu is pan Indian with a focus on tandoor specialties. The usual malai and tikka kababs are there, but at Aaira try their signature numbers such as the Murgh Rosali Kabab (chicken breast stuffed with minced chicken and melted cheese, smothered with fiery tikka spices and char-grilled) or the perfectly flaky kali miri machhli (juicy chunks of char-grilled fish laced with a black pepper flavoured creamy marinade). There are few interesting mains such as the dabba gosht, a rich mutton curry that comes in an egg wrap. The onion cheese kulcha is a must try.
Location: Diagonally opposite where music world used to be. Ambiance: Part of a building with multiple commercial establishments. Decor is posh, tables are a little small for groups of 4 or more, has some pillars in between, which, though ornamented, are eye sores. Food: Quantity is reasonable, a little spicy to my taste, not too much option for kids. Currently, the y do not serve alcohol. Service: Unimpressive. Slow and often unresponsive in the middle. Price: Reasonable, given the location and environment.
Located in Park Street, this is a very good place in terms of food quality and ambience. Kebab platter is a delight!
This is one of the six restaurants/pubs in hotel myx, Park Street, and a fine dining restaurant. I happened to throw a birthday party for my wife at this restaurant. The first thing that attracts about this restaurant is its sophisticated interiors and the unplugged edition Bollywood songs played softly in the restaurant. The hospitality of the staff is awesome. Then comes the food. They had this splendid murgh starter, called murgh rozali kabab which was simply awesome and we ordered two plates of it. They have a signature dish called fish potli biriyani which comes in a wrap of tandoori roti instead of a dish. We ordered one such and did not repent. Alcoholic drinks are moderately priced. Overall a great dining experience but on the expensive side. It cost us 6570 rupees for 6 adults and a kid.
Aaira is one of the best places to dine out with friends and family. Food is delicious, service is quick, staff is friendly. Overall a place that you can hang out and have a good time.
Sometimes life gives pleasant surprises. we are a family of 10 people and getting reservation in a good restaurant that too in park Street area on a Sunday is just impossible.Cos you have to be very patient,as you have to wait for atl east 45 minutes to get entry in any of the renowned restaurant on a Sunday evening. We were told to wait at almost all the restaurant s. Thanks to fellow food bloggers on trip advisor who recommended Aaira ,so we thought to give it a try bearing in mind that we have to wait there also but it was different. The manager welcomed all of us and made arrangement for us. Everything about the restaurant was good starting from ambience (quite). The starter,s were excellent, the main course both veg and non veg were very good and beyond our expectations. The price is around 5%more than the restaurant,s nearby but if we consider the privacy, the food quality, the service it's worth it..... I would recommend it highly and specially to people who go to restaurants in park street area ,to give it a try and i am sure you wont be disappointed.
