Brightly lit with a cheerful ambience and Kumar Sanu’s life on the walls, this place is a paradise for the 90s music lovers. Although you have not come here to listen to music but to dine out, the melody definitely helps. The menu has been kept on the basis of popular choice - multicuisine with an emphasis on North Indian food and Chinese delicacies and the menu works. The good part is that the taste of the food is pleasing and everyone will find something that will work for them. 'Chicken Garlic Pepper' in the starters is a good option from the Chinese section where the Chicken pieces are tossed in garlic and bell peppers and have a light glaze. Some 'Cheese Garlic Naan' which is pillowy and soft along with 'Paneer Butter Masala' and 'Chicken Bharta' is a great combination.
We checked online and thought of being here. They also confirmed that children are allowed. We were glad and happy to be here. We were quite many people here. This restaurant is owned by famous Bollywood singer Kumar Sanu and that is why it is called Club Dum Laga ke Haishaa. I think that was the last movie in which he sang. Pardon me if I am wrong as I am too weak in all this. The decor is superb and musically gorgeous with pictures of Bollywood singers and celebrities all around everywhere. Songs by Kumar Sanu being played all the time. The place is huge and can seat quite many people at once. Also good for large groups and even singles. We order quite many starters, dishes and drinks. We were satisfied and liked each one which came by. I liked my vegetarian stuff served to me. My non-veg friends praised the amazing dishes served to them. No had any complain whatsoever. The service was good and even suggestions by them was also good. The staff is very nice. The one thing which I disliked was the quality of the bathroom. When one makes such a class place then quality bathrooms are a must. Moreover they were just near the kitchen. That was what i i disliked the most. Imagine ur food crossing the bathroom all times. Anyways apart from the small issue I would still recommend this place. Good one and highly recommended by me.
Even though I have given this place a 4-star rating, I realy cannot find a very good reason to go back a second time other than for the exemplary service given by one member of their staff. The other servers were clearly new and untrained, and did not even know the basics of attending to a customer. Food wasn't bad though, prices were what one would expect in a so-called theme restaurant. The walls had pictures of Kumar Shanu with a host of other Bollywood personalities looking down upon us . There were 3 of us - we ordered 2 starters and 3 main courses, besides a couple of KF Strong beers. Total bill came out to Rs. 2900.
I went with my family for lunch there ..though buffet was going on @ 600/- per head , we chose ala- carte .. starters were tasty, main course was good ... though mutton pieces served was not upto the mark ..staffs were good .. spacious restaurant , on the road .. pay parking was available ..
Visited this place for lunch on a Sat afternoon. We went for the buffet lunch at 699 - excellent items on the menu and food quality was also fantastic! Starters, main course, dessert - each had multiple items worth repeating. Must visit!
Great food but terrible ambience. Other guests in the restaurant behave in a rowdy manner disturbing everyone in the restaurant. The staff of the restaurant is slow when it comes to service and initially denied to give the 10% discount of easydiner citing that such discount was available only till 19:00 hours.
