It is a pub located inside The Big Boss hotel, which is a typical city hotel with 3-star amenities. The overall ambience is a bit dingy with blue lights but the food more or less makes up for it. They have an assortment of liquor from domestic to international available here and some classic cocktails like a 'Mojito' or a 'Daiquiri'. 'Chutney Paneer Shashlik Grilled' to perfection is a great dish to have. The prices of the cocktails are simply too high, almost at par with a 5-star property.
Good food, a little-clustered space. Ambiance is delightful, a very good service indeed received. Good work
Good atmosphere, food quality is good.. We enjoyed a lot. Behavior is very good.overall good experience with family & friend
The chinese buffet served at dinner is good in quality but number of choices is very less. We had chicken wanton soup, Salads (I don't know where from they managed the lettuce in the middle of summer), Salad with eggs and mayonnaise, Rice, Veg schezwan noodles and ice creams. There were Indian items which confused us : There was a buffet where chinese and Indian cuisine were racked up side by side.
The BigBoss is a very nice luxury hotel near Rowdon Street. They serve Chinese and Indian cuisine along with a selection of mixed desserts. Seating includes velvety soft sofas and chairs so you can dine in comfort. The walls are painted in subtle colors of golden white and browns while the lighting is dim – setting the mood for a quiet, yet memorable meal. As we opted for buffet dinner, the menu was Chicken Fried Wanton Soup, Minestrone Soup, Green Salad, Soya Noodle Salad, Tandoori Veg Salad, Egg Mayo Salad, Chicken in Oyster Sauce, Fish Amritsari, Aloo Gobi Bhaji, Dal Sabjiwala, Spinach & Babycorn In Mongolian Style, Paneer Shimla Mirch, Steam Rice & Veg Szechwan Noodles, Assorted Rotis on Guest Choice, Chocolate Mousse, Strawberry Mousse, Choice of Ice Cream and Hot Lancha. Enjoyed dinner buffet items like Chicken Fried Wanton Soup, Egg Mayo Salad, Spinach & Babycorn In Mongolian Style, Fish Amritsari, Chicken in Oyster Sauce and Chocolate Mousse. Not to mention the extensive salad bar and assortment of desserts. The food did not disappoint! but it was not extra-ordinary. I would also advise them to expand their buffet menu. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for family dining.
