Sodepur Kasturi is great ?? toneat food in Bengali style. If you are looking for traditional Bengali dishes, Kasturi is a good restaurant to try. However quantity is ideal for one only. If you are planning to share dishes like 1/2, it's not recommended ?. Otherwise food is absolutely good. Today we tried plain basmati rice, Jambo Vetki Paturi, Mutton Kasturi Dukbunglow, Mutton Kosha and Dhakai Polao with Beresta. We are satisfied. We usually eat here and already tried many dishes. So I recommend Kochupatay Chingri, Jumbo Vetki, Mutton. I love to eat here at Kasturi. Sodepur ambiance good and seating area is also huge. Had an excellent dining experience at Kasturi Restaurant! The place truly lives up to its reputation for authentic Bengali cuisine. I tried the Veg Thali, Mutton Kosha, and Basanti Polao — and every dish was absolutely delicious. The Mutton Kosha was perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and paired beautifully with the aromatic Basanti Polao. The Veg Thali offered a lovely balance of traditional flavors too.

The ambiance was warm and homely, and the service was prompt and courteous. If you’re craving genuine Bengali food, Kasturi is definitely the place to go. Highly recommended!

This was our first time visit to kasturi restaurant.
We ordered 2 chicken thali which was for 269 each. The presentation was good . Food was good overall, the chicken was a bit undercooked or dry as it was a bit more fried.
They took a bit longer than usual to present the thali but the wait was worth it. Would visit again to try something else .

We went on 1st October for lunch.It was Durga Navami so long waiting time was expected.
But after 2 hours when we realised no table for 6 is getting available, every body getting impatient outside, then we tried to communicating.
And we get to know due to serving online orders they taking long time to serve on the table.

Not only that when after 2.30 hours we got chance to get onboard we came to know
The thali is not available,
But at the same time I checked Thali is available online booking.
When ask in the counter they said it will take time that is why they said -not available.

Honestly I have never seen such poor management who can not handle 60-70 customer.
If online business is more profitable then what was the point to open the physical store in Puja session.
I have no complain on food quality as of now.

Everything was good. We tried bhetki maharaja thali and it was very good. But mutton was tight and on a disappointing note. Otherwise fish were ?

I visited today and ordered two thalis. The food taste was good and the ambience was decent. However, the thali is not refillable and also mentioned as not shareable, which was a bit confusing because usually thalis are refillable. Overall, I enjoyed the food, but this point should be clarified.
