It is a typical (but popular) neighbourhood eatery with an unassuming, if not cheap, interior, dim lights and bright red chairs. The menu card declares that the chef-owner has cooked in five-star kitchens for years before launching his own restaurant to serve five-star Oriental food at affordable prices. While such a claim might seem a bit far-fetched, the place dishes out bankable food. The menu, mostly Schezwan-style Chinese with a small Thai section packed in, sticks to the tried and tested route; the food is tasty, and the portions robust. The tsing hoi chicken and lat me kai are among their best dishes.
