Went there for the first time today and immediately realized that this place is very much underrated. Here are the dishes we ordered, mixed chilli garlic rice, kung pao chicken, chilli pepper fish, squid in hot garlic sauce and rice meifoon. Each and every dish exceeded our expectation and were perfectly flavourful. Very few chinese eateries I have visited that has done chilli garlic rice right and they are one of them. I would highly recommend visiting Yuan, it will not hurt your pocket that much either.

Tried the Crispy Chilli Baby Corn, Garlic Paper Chicken, Devil's Chicken, Yuan Special Mixed Fried Rice, and Mixed Noodles. The food overall was really flavorful especially the Baby Corn and Devil's Chicken, which were excellent. The only letdown was the Garlic Paper Chicken which didn't quite match the taste of the other dishes. The rice and noodles were good but the quantity felt a bit less. Service was attentive and quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant making it a nice place to dine.

We had visited to had a birthday dinner of my mother.we had a great time. Food quality and quantity is really really good.

The ambience here is calm and welcoming, with a subtle Chinese-inspired décor and slightly dim lighting that creates a relaxed atmosphere. It feels comfortable for both family dinners and casual outings.

The staff are polite and attentive without being intrusive. Service is generally smooth, and even though delivery is handled neatly, the dine-in experience feels more complete.

Food quality is a mix of highlights and inconsistencies. The crispy chilli baby corn is excellent — crunchy and full of flavor — and the wontons are usually well prepared. On the other hand, the Kung Pao chicken did not feel very fresh, and the Schezwan fried rice was a bit mild compared to expectations. Hakka noodles tasted good but could use a more generous portion of add-ins like chicken or vegetables.

For small gatherings, this place works well. However, for larger events or bulk bookings, I would recommend clarifying details in advance to avoid any misunderstandings about charges.

Overall, Yuaan offers a pleasant dining experience with some standout dishes, though consistency can vary. Pricing is moderate (roughly ₹800–1000 per person). It’s a good choice for casual dining and smaller celebrations in Patuli.

I would like to share my extremely disappointing experience at Yuaan so that others are aware before deciding to dine here. We went for a family dinner expecting at least a decent meal, but what we got was a complete disaster from start to finish. The food quantity was shockingly low for the price they charged, and the taste and quality were far below any acceptable standard. The chicken served was clearly stale and had an unpleasant smell that made it hard to eat. The fried rice was undercooked, hard, and bland, lacking even the most basic seasoning. The “Drums of Heaven” dish was a complete disaster — the chicken inside was raw and unsafe for consumption, which is absolutely unacceptable for any restaurant. The Chowmein was equally bad, tasting nothing like authentic Chinese cuisine; it was greasy, bland, and lacked any freshness. We pointed out these issues to the staff, but instead of showing concern or taking responsibility, they did not even bother to offer a refund or replacement. The overall dining experience was not only a waste of money but also a serious risk to health due to the undercooked and stale food served. I strongly advise everyone to think twice before visiting Yuaan — there are far better and more hygienic options available where you will get value for your money and won’t have to worry about food safety.

Came here for dinner, had egg fried rice, pepper chicken, garlic pepper fish and chicken Kung Pao chicken.

Loved the preparation, the spices and taste was on point, service was quick too!

The ambience is nice overall, however there is an issue with the ventilation. Since it is winter now, didn't face much of a problem.

I hope the restaurant takes my suggestions and yes, I do recommend everyone to visit here and have a great time. It is affordable as well, with the offers.

Staff behaviour is also nice?

I went to this restaurant with my family (wife and 2 year old kid) on 21st January 2026 at around 5 pm to grab a quick snack after finishing some bank work. The restaurant was completely empty; no other customer. Perhaps that was a red flag which we ignored. We ordered a plate of wonton and a cold drink. The wonton was average; not great, not bad. The cold drink was served to us in a glass (around 300 ml). With the first sip, we realized that the taste was off - it was too sweet and the fizz was less than usual. However, we were very tired and did not complain (should have done that).
When the bill came, we saw that they have charged Rs.80 for the cold drink. That was quite high; but as restaurants often mark up beverage prices, I didn’t complain. I then asked them to show me the bottle from where the drink was served. And surprise, surprise! They showed me a 2 litre bottle of Sprite which was already half empty. I confronted them that after charging such a high amount, why are they not serving customers from sealed bottles? How can i be sure that this 2 litre bottle has not been opened long back and my kid is just drinking stale sugar water.
The manager had no answer. He didn’t even apologize. He didn’t offer to refund the amount for the cold drinks. He just stood there with a bland face.
Pathetic service.
Unethical way of service and cheating customers.
