Along with Trishna and Mahesh, Apoorva was part of the popular triumvirate of Mumbai seafood restaurants in the 1990s before Gajalee and the Jai Hind chain came into their own. The ground floor is non air-conditioned but its high ceilings make sure it's never too hot. The upper section is air-conditioned. Prawn ghassi, surmai and Bombay duck fries, butter garlic squid are the popular choices in this Mangalorean restaurant. They serve alcohol here.
