This outlet although located in a shopping mall is spacious enough and does not really require one to wait for tables unlike the other branches of this restaurant across Mumbai. The food offerings, of course, are the same but the dishes differ daily. The Non- Vegetarian grills unarguably overshadow the vegetarian options, although the crispy corn is an absolute treat. The buffet spread is a mediocre fare but value-for-money all the way. It is fun to dine here in a large group. The service staff makes dining here an enjoyable experience. The seafood dishes are outstanding especially the zesty Butter Garlic Prawns. The desserts are easily one of the highlights here.
Nice place to enjoy food.... Paisa vasul... Food was good and testy....Tandoori chicken , fish and ice cream....
A nice cozy place with a good variety of grilled starters. This was my third visit and I have seldom been dissapointed. Nice courteous staff who are always ready to assist you in understanding your needs and explaining the offerings. I have always liked the way they treat kids at the restaurant. It was the Ramadan special menu, so there were kebabs being served, which I do not think us served regularly. The usual Chicken and seafood starters with the various sauces is always liked by family so was so this time around too. The main course and the desert spread was OK. But again Ramadan special Phirni was noteworthy. All in all a good place to visit with your family and enjoy.
Apart from the friendly and professional staff they serve you the best of the staters with your preference , they ensure the things served are as per your choice and eating preference , if you are there for any special occasion they would celebrate with you by offering a nice cake , music and a memorable picture
We are regular patrons of this chain and frequently visit their outlets in Mumbai. Mulund R mall outlet is a relatively new outlet. It is also far less crowded as compared with Saki Naka and thane outlets. As with any of the BBQ nation, the food is quite awesome and they have a very elaborate spread. Must try in veg starters - Cajun spiced potato and crispy corn. Main course and dessert - dal Makhni and their kesar phirnis are pretty good.
We enjoyed our first time out at this place and our host was quite helpful. The food was good & their variety of vegetarian & non vegetarian was adequate. Enjoyed the desserts, especially the pan-flavoured kulfi with gulkand. To top it all our host enquired if it was a special occasion & when informed that it was a birthday celebration promptly brought in a cake & the staff joined in to wish me. Will definitely visit again & readily recommend.
Mumbai has its share of family-style restaurants and one more addition is always welcome. For a city that is known for its wonderful varied gastronomy, Mumbai comes off as a complex place. It is home to some of the best restaurants in the country, which brings people in droves to sample their excellent selection. One name however is more visible than any other brand in the city and owns a space in practically every prime food district. We are talking about ‘Barbeque Nation’, a lively family-style dining space that has become one of the fastest growing culinary chains in the country. Out of hundreds of outlets in India, Mumbai gains about thirteen branches and one of them is located on the third floor of R Mall in Mulund West. The eatery remains busy regardless weekday or weekends.
Barbeque Nation is a name that evokes images of a noisy fun dining experience in the company of friends and family. To enhance the experience even more, they use clever ideas like ‘pre-fix bill’ or ‘live grills’ to pull the diners in. These concepts took country by storm and every other family-style restaurant rushed to adapt their brilliant ideas. A generous multi-cuisine menu is accompanied by a variety of cocktails and beers. For the best deal go for their buffet, its lavish and pocket-friendly. Start with, lasooni mutton seekh, BBQ pineapple, gulabi tangri, shabnam ki moti, Mexican fish, paneer achari tikka and chilly garlic prawns. Fill yourself further with, fish in schezwan sauce, gulabi soya biryani, egg curry, vegetable achari, dum ka murgh, paneer methi malai and laal maas. Food is delicious and one is encouraged to eat as much as they want.
As final course take delight in something sweet. Relish on jamun gulab, mirch ka halwa, chocolate roll, rose brownie, gulab phirnee and rose pastry. They even have a live kulfi station from where you can pick your preferred flavours. Interiors of Barbeque Nation is wood-heavy, with ample use of wooden finish giving the dining room a masculine earthy appeal. Faux exposed brick walls give a charming contrast to the room. Each table, flanked by cushioned low settee, is separated by low wooden walls, lending a sense of privacy to the diners. The ambience is informal yet smart, rambunctious and ideal for families. For moderate prices you can have quite a lavish time wading through their menu.
All the other family-style dining restaurants have taken a back seat since the arrival of Barbeque Nation on the scene. Counted as one of the top restaurants for families and large groups, Barbeque Nation in Mulund West instantly grabs your attention with its rambunctious ambience and cheerful happy vibe. This place deserves to be tackled with an appetite. Their all-you-can-eat buffets and live grills on each table puts Barbeque Nation on the map. Couples can sit a little apart from the main boisterous crowd and have their own private grilling party in peace for a Special Occasion.
