Bombay Barbeque is a restaurant with three outlets spread across the city – in Khar, Andheri West and Thane. As dining out can get expensive, especially for larger groups, restaurants like Bombay Barbeque are an ideal place to visit. Buffet meals where you can eat till you drop allow one to enjoy good food for a fixed price. The food is a mix of cuisines and dishes, including popular North Indian and Chinese preparations, but is extremely tasty and a value-for-money experience. Do not expect any fine-dining, but this is a good spacious restaurant with a casual ambience and smart décor. Service is very good at all outlets and they make sure your experience is enjoyable.
Bombay Barbeque Bandra has been consistent in their quality and service. This was the second time I have visited them and friends who have visited other branches have always had some negatives to talk about. This franchise has been a trend-setter in offering a wide variety for their clients. What I missed checking out this time was the live pasta counter and other options. What I also hated that the air-conditioning on our table wasn’t cooling at all, hope the management looks into it. Service is good and the servers are always on their toes to check if you need anything. Pls find below the food menu- Mocktails (this is something which you mustn’t miss ordering for) Chocolate Monk - decent Cran cooler - soothing Cindrella Mint fizz – loved this one since it was tangy and perfectly chilled Virgin mojito Mango rapture – just decent, have tasted a better version at ‘Pi Bar’ Quick Bites--- Pani puri – better to have it on the live counter than being served on the table. Sev puri - superb Papdi chat – good flavours Chef special Starter---- Veg crispy – wholesome and crispy Paneer chilly dry – good flavours but the paneer didn’t have the milky flavour which I had tasted at ‘The Taste of Punjab’
Excellent food and service. Have been a patron for some time and have found the food and service consistent. However this time there was some damaged portions. I was told it was under repairs. Well lets see how it pans out in future. I must mention that Mr Vishal and Mr Ali took pains to see that the service was excellent. Overall a good experience.
A lovely place to visit for foodie, it has varied choice of dishes with barbecue starters especially pineapple barbecue one of the unique taste i had, all are lip smacking and the best things is the group of people can enjoy the food with talks laughs and create a great memories, i would love to visit the place again.
The food is very standard with the non vegetarian food better than vegetarian. The service sucks - they are slow. I ordered something in stir fry and it arrived post my deserts.
Went for lunch with uni friends I hadn’t met for 48 yrs . It was busy but still quiet enough to sit and chat . We had barbecue on the table. Chicken and prawns were good but didn’t taste the fish . Had yummy chat as well . Lot of choice for main course too and was all tasty .Dessert was yummy too . Will definitely revisit
Fine dining can turn out to be an expensive affair and one dinner out at a decent restaurant can cut your bank balance deeply, but don’t be disheartened as there are several good restaurants in the city that can offer fabulous food in budget-friendly prices. Dining in Mumbai can take a toll on your wallet but not if you will dine at ‘Bombay Barbeque’, where one can have a lavish all-you-can-eat meal for a fixed price. The restaurant is a popular name amongst Mumbai’s family dining circuit and has several outlets in all popular locations but no outlet comes even close to the popularity of Khar branch, which is placed on the ground floor of Om Palace in Mumbai Khar West. It is always busy throughout the week especially at the lunch time when it is visited by the office crowd.
Bombay Barbeque has many points in its favour. First off its affordability, second, its menu that features crowd-pleasing cuisines like Chinese, Mughlai and North Indian, thirdly, their live grill concept. Each table is fitted with a small live grill that is later filled with all kinds of starters for you to grill and enjoy. Have your pick between, pani puri, veg kebab, crispy corn, BBQ pineapple, Tandoori aloo, paneer tikka, sweet potato, chicken tikka, tandoori mushrooms, mutton seekh kebab and fried fish. Fill yourself up further with dum murgh biryani, pastas, honey chicken, gobi Manchurian, Singapore style chicken pot rice, paneer ranjeete shai, lachale aloo, dahi anjeer ke kofte curry, thin crust pizzas, mutton curry, chettinad chicken, mutton rogan josh, langarwale chane, paneer butter masala, Mongolian wok, masaledar baingan and veg fried rice.
Finish off with a helping of freshly prepared jalebis served with rabdi or hot & irresistible gulab jamun. Eat as much as you want and walk away after paying a nominal fixed price. Interiors of Bombay Barbeque is vast and tasteful. Tones of brown are used to infuse a sense of welcome and warmth into the space. Formal dining tables are included to give the diners proper sit-down dining experience. Potted plants in every other corner lends freshness to the room opening up various nooks and corners you can slip into for a breather. Bombay Barbeque is nicely decorated and comes off looking quite elegant. The place is ideal for team lunches and large group of diners.
