Bombay Barbeque is a restaurant with three outlets spread across the city – in Khar, Andheri West and Thane. As dining out can get expensive, especially for larger groups, restaurants like Bombay Barbeque are an ideal place to visit. Buffet meals where you can eat till you drop allow one to enjoy good food for a fixed price. The food is a mix of cuisines and dishes, including popular North Indian and Chinese preparations, but is extremely tasty and a value-for-money experience. Do not expect any fine-dining, but this is a good spacious restaurant with a casual ambience and smart décor. Service is very good at all outlets and they make sure your experience is enjoyable.
We visited Bombay Barbeque in January 2019. It was better then we thought and definitely value for money. The restaurant was very busy but we got a great table for two and we explained it was our first visit. The waiter was very helpful and told us the process. Initially we had started brought to our table to finish cooking on our own barbeque on our table and the range was everything from fish, kebabs, chicken etc and made to our taste in terms of how chili we wanted them. This was as much as you wanted to eat after which we could avail ourselves of a variety of buffet meals and sweets. There were both veg and non-veg options for starters and mains - Great food topped off by great service - highly recommend
One of the best buffet i have ever had. The best one in the buffet re prawns, mutton seekh kabab and biryani. Deserts are also good.
Whoever loves barbeque would definitely love this place. An unlimited access to self service buffet and tentalizing barbeque appetizers. Barbeques and beverages are serviced while the buffet is the self service. They have a live counter where they make chaat - pani puri, sev puri, aloo chat & pasta too. had a wonderful experience eating and chatting. I certainly recommend this place to go for a complete food hog paradise.
they serve raw chicken n spoiled my day n same less ppl charge me for incomplete dinner . they talk to some area manager he ask them to charge
One of the most horrible place to dine I would say. It was our 15th Wedding Anniversary, we had booked a table for dinner for our Family at 8.00p.m. We visited the place and the entire place was hardly with any guests, we thought that maybe we are early and it may get crowded subsequently after 9.00p.m. or so. We were allotted a table and it was shaking completely, we requested the waiters to either change our table or put some packing so that the table doesn't shake but all the Waiters paid deaf ears to our multiple requests and looked completely lost. They sounded like new recruits or probably interns from West Bengal. After few minutes when the barbeque sigri was brought and fixed on our table, the quality of starters served to us were pathetic, the mushrooms served to us were rotten and we immediately pointed out to the Waiters, they had no regrets about serving rotten mushrooms to us and they merely said that we will get us some fresh mushrooms and they never got them back. All the starters mentioned in the Menu were not served and maximum starters were not upto mark, the paneer served was decent/highly okay but save and except paneer, nothing was up to the mark. The pani puri served on the table was soggy, the dahi puri was too sweet, cutlets and other starters were half cooked. The table was shaking continuously so whenever the waiters served us starters, they conveniently dropped the dips and chutneys on the table and were very cool about as if it happens with all our guests and they had no regrets on their face. The main course buffet was quite ordinary, the deserts eg. basundi was like a flavoured milk and watery, jalebi despite being hot was not tasty. The firni was also not good and we did not like the other dishes in the spread out . Over all we felt as if this was not celebration but a big punishment that we had to undergo on our anniversary. By the end of the dinner, we pointed out the problems faced by us to the Manager, she smiled happily and said that we will not repeat this next time. By the time we left we realized as to why this restaurant was empty. I think the Management should visit a restaurant in Powai know as “Sigree” or to some other decent restaurant like “Global Fusion”, have a complete meal at any of such restaurant right from starters to main course to deserts and thereafter understand as to what is quality of food all about, understand what is service and how the guests are supposed to be treated. I would request you not to celebrate any occasion at this place even if they offer you food completely free of cost.
As it is often the case, dining out for large groups can be pretty expensive so to tackle the problem many family style restaurants have opened up in the city, attracting a horde of large groups with their affordable prices and plethora of cuisines. The diners get to relish a wide variety of cuisines for pocket-friendly prices and in abundance. Office goers and families often visit these places in hope for lavish budget-friendly meals, which they get plenty. Counted amongst the best family style restaurants is ‘Bombay Barbeque’, a popular chain of restaurants dotted all over the city. The outlet in Khopat, Thane is Mumbai’s finest, focused on good wholesome food in reasonable prices. It gets a lot of attention from the neighbouring office goers during the lunch time and even after the office hours when they drop in for a bite before heading home.
Bombay Barbeque is all about the excess, which we get to see through their multi-cuisine menu. Be ready to explore the depths of Chinese, Mughlai and North Indian cuisines. Opt for their buffet which you can enjoy for pre-fixed prices, comparatively cheaper than their a la carte spread. Another feat of Bombay Barbeque is their live grills equipped on each table and filled with a variety of delicious appetizers. Munch onto, pani puri, veg kebab, crispy corn, BBQ pineapple, Tandoori aloo, paneer tikka, sweet potato, chicken tikka, tandoori mushrooms, mutton seekh kebab and fried fish. Now for the main course you will be spoilt for choices such as, dum murgh biryani, pastas, honey chicken, gobi Manchurian, Singapore style chicken pot rice, paneer ranjeete shai, lachale aloo, dahi anjeer ke kofte curry, thin crust pizzas, mutton curry, chettinad chicken, mutton rogan josh, paneer butter masala, Mongolian wok, masaledar baingan and veg fried rice.
Pamper your sweet tooth silly with an array of delectable desserts, be it rabri, jalebi or scrumptious gulab jamuns. Dining space at Bombay Barbeque is tastefully designed with subtle colours and elegant refined furnishings. The space is vast equipped with long formal dining tables so a party of twelve can sit comfortably and dine. For small groups cosy booths are added right next to the display island. Bombay Barbeque is ideal if you’re looking for a neat fine dining space with a plethora of multi-cuisine delicacies.
