The aesthetic but minimalist décor here exudes a sophisticated vibe. This spacious restaurant offers ample seating options, including alcoves for a cosy dining experience. A variety of gourmet pizza is what you can expect to enjoy here. Appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, pasta and desserts are the other offerings on the menu. The bar menu is equally varied and creative. The Original BBQ Chicken Salad is hearty and appeases your taste buds instantly. There is ample variety by way of textures and flavours on your plate. The Sonora Chicken Wonton Rolls are generously filled with a delicious melange of chicken, sweet corn and veggies. Basil Chicken And Dynamite Shrimp are worth trying as well. Vegetarians may opt for The Black Bean Quesadilla. The pizza variety can leave you confused. Kasundi Paneer may cater to the Indian taste buds, but it delightful. The new Capri with vegetables wrapped in a Pomodoro sauce, arugula and cheesy all the way, is pure indulgence. Carnivores cannot miss the robust Meat Cravers pizza. The seasonal ingredients used are fresh and the flavours distinct. The Chocolate Trinity And Sticky Toffee Pudding are the signature desserts. The staff is exceedingly warm and helpful.
Food is very highly priced but just about average food. Pizzas are piece of rubber. Not worth visiting and wasting your money. Drinks are expensive and mocktails suck. AVOID AVOID AVOID
I have eaten at several California Pizza Kitchen outlets in the U.S. This one in Mumbai is far inferior. The pizza toppings and crust are inferior, and the choices of toppings do not reflect this chain's American roots. They also use dynamic currency conversion to overcharge anyone using a foreign credit card. They process the charge in your home currency even if you tell them to process it in rupees. Avoid! There are far better pizza options in Mumbai.
we reached there and very fun with our friends we are stay 3 hour and this place is very interesting.
CPF pizzas are class apart. Would personally recommend the BBQ chicken pizza and fire roasted vegetable pizza.. Yum and excellent service
An average place for the cost it comes at, had a few key ingredients our of stock, due to which we couldn't order a few things. The service is good, however, the food can improve for the cost.
Take your pizza seriously. Don’t think it’s just a flatbread with a lot of toppings, it’s a religious experience that has power to change your life with just one bite. Those who are passionate about their pies knows what we are talking about. Having a great pizza is almost a privilege and is equally difficult to find. In Mumbai though there are several places where you can get a decent pizza, not many come even close to the very popular chain of gourmet pizza parlours ‘California Pizza Kitchen’. Numerous funky outlets of California Pizza Kitchen are tucked into various parts of the city but the one in Malad West takes our breath away. Perched on the third floor of Infiniti Mall, the cosy pizza joint is a mecca for foodies, who frequently stop by for a slice before heading home.
Like any smart food joint of a luxurious mall, California Pizza Kitchen is built along the similar lines. It portrays a very appealing and inviting façade of large glass panels that peeks into a wide spacious room lit brightly by natural sunlight. As you step in, you will have a choice between slipping in a cosy plush booth or take a comfy formal table. The booths are partitioned with low heighted walls to provide ample privacy to the diners. A row of edgy looking lamps hangs overhead throwing the entire area into a patina of warmth and intimacy. If you have nothing better to do, watch the chefs at work in their open kitchen. You will see a lot of pies being tossed around. The interiors are good-looking, smart, earthy, welcoming and filled with an aroma of freshly baked pies.
Their Italian menu opens with a plethora of appetizers like, dynamite shrimp, fried mac ‘n’ cheese, spicy chicken supreme, black bean quesadilla, basil chicken, crispy potato, Mediterranean focaccia, wonton rolls and BBQ chicken wings. Although the menu stocks on a wonderful variety of other Italian delicacies but what California Pizza Kitchen is famous for are their gourmet pizzas. To add the healthy element opt for a soup or a salad as a side. They do some Indianized versions of pizzas too like, Kasundi paneer and Indiano rustica that can taste divine with a glass of Mai Tai. Their hot sellers include, meat craves, margherita, Jamaican jerk, pepperoni supremo, Sicilian and Peri Peri. It is a pricey place too.
