Located on the 4th floor of an upscale building, the lift transports you straight into this chic and cosy place. There is a terrace seating on the 5th floor too. The name aptly sums up the ethos of this restaurant- meatless, as well as its location. The food menu appears limited but offers enough to satiate every palate. Seasonal and locally-sourced produce typifies every dish here. The fresh, high-quality ingredients are apparent in each bite. Salads, soups, small plates, sharing plates, flatbreads, desserts, are on offer. There are some interesting in-house cocktails available too, apart from spirits and wines. 'Rubies And Pearls' is a great way to start your meal, as this fruity, crunchy salad offers a melange of flavours and textures. Indulge guilt-free in the spicy 'Sweet Potato Sev Puri'. The flavourful 'Lettuce Wraps' are perfect for this season. The 'Goat Cheese And Caramelised Onion Stone-Baked Flat Bread' is fun to munch on while sipping your drink. The staff is exceptionally warm and helpful. One can ask for a Jain menu here. Opt for the 'Sharing Drinks' if you are in a large group.
Food was really great, nice variety and freshly prepared. However the food was topped by outstanding service from Angelo who served us. Completely polite, considerate and courteous. Thank you!
I must start by saying the menu really impressed me. Its been thoughtfully curated keeping in mind dietary restrictions like gluten free, vegan etc which are clearly marked. The food tastes very fresh. We ordered the Thai salad and quinoa burrito bowl which tasted delicious. The service was fantastic and staff was very helpful.
The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. We ordered sweet potato burger in beetroot bun & sundried tomato risotto. The preparations were both delicious. We ordered their cold pressed juices and found them quite good. Staff is very amicable and service was timely. Its also a kids and pets friendly restaurant. Would definitely recommend this.
I loved the restaurant a lot! Candy and Green is an all vegetarian restaurant just at the beginning of Breach Candy and I was here with my friends. I loved the meals on offer and Turkish Kebabs were wonderful. The best thing Service was very slow but staff was very friendly and manager suggested I try the Spicy he told us to try tacos & risotto & pizza was awesome and I didn't regret it at all. A bit pricey, but I am so coming back here. All the credit goes to manager and his name was AGNFELO JACINTO........
Candy & Green is a beautiful little place at Breach Candy, offering wonderful vegetarian food. Ambience : I love their rooftop as it’s extremely breezy, pretty looking and has candle lights. However it’s shut during monsoon. Even their air conditioned section is great with beautiful lights and modern decor. Price: ₹2500 for two Cuisine : Vegetarian healthy continental cuisine New menu : So we basically went for their menu which was for a change not just good looking but also tasted great. And it was more over healthy. But the healthy that tasted good. They had cheat day mac and cheese too. The mac and cheese was the hero in the whole menu. It wasn’t bland. They had that tinge of jalapeño taste which was wonderful. Let me start. Mock tails : They were something what I have had before. 1. Hydrate : Cold presses watermelon juice, rose water, basil seeds. 2. Activated charcoal lemonade Smoothie bowl! If you love Banana and peanut butter, you will flip over it. They had made it so well. Super food chaat: They had used kale chips with yoghurt cream and tamarind sauce, beet sauce . It tasted wonderful without the fats . Oh now YOU HAVE TO HAVE this. Beetroot chips. They tasted so good. Specially with that dip, the dish was amazing. Don’t fret you Beetroot haters, you won’t even realise the taste. It tastes so good. I liked their whole wheat and thin crust flatbreads. The double beet burger was also amazing. The Beetroot patty and the green garlic mayo stole the show. The dessert was just fine. It was inspired from Japan and was light . Shaved flavoured ice . I found it okayish. Service : The service was outstanding . Specially the steward. He was just so welcoming and warm. #TGJTIPS : If you all are having a special night, do tell them. They might just put rose petals for you. Overall I loved this space. I am definitely heading there again.
Mumbai is crawling with several cozy nooks you can escape to in case you ever feel like taking a temporary reprieve away from work or home. In the heart of this dense concrete jungle, you will chance upon some beautiful peaceful spots where you can relax for couple of hours with your laptop or your current thriller. There is nothing better than sipping your cocktail while turning pages of your latest book or gazing out watching Mumbai pass you by. ‘Candy & Green’ gives you the perfect vantage point to do exactly that, sit in a corner and relax. The restaurant is perched on the 4th & 5th floor of Hub Town Sky Bay on Bhulabhai Desai Road at Breach Candy. The locality is a hip cool one, brimming with life.
The invigorating grub of Candy & Green reflects the green lifestyle the restaurant is trying to promote. Not a single piece of meat is in sight. They however take the matter further, by accompanying their riveting vegetarian menu with the concept of farm to table and the farm in question is blooming on their terrace filling any requirements for the green the chef might have. A trio of Asian, Italian and Continental spread is paired off with an exciting booze selection. Hint: Try their Mango & Bird’s Eye Chili margarita or their innovative array of shots. Cold press juices would refresh a non-drinker anytime. Candy & Green’s food is imaginative and thrilling. Dosa waffles, kale chip chaat or spicy mango mousse crostini will work great as start-ups. Follow that with, black is back, achari paneer flatbread, dragon noodles, Turkish kebab wraps, jalapeno popper mac & cheese and charcoal & cheese spaghetti.
Jain-friendly versions of the dishes also features on the menu. This is the kind of place you bring your friends to, for drinks and nibbles. Happy Endings is how they tag their dessert section, which is apt if you ask any sugar buff. Devour, beetroot parfait, mom’s zucchini cake, coconut pudding, ultimate brownie sundae and no more depresso mousse. The main dining room of Candy & Green with its high ceiling and floor to roof stained glass windows entraps your interest almost immediately. The chic LA vibe exuded by a casual smart décor and simple unassuming design elements makes a great space to entertain friends or colleagues. Vertical gardens are an ingenious touch. Couples can head over for their terrace area.
