This chain of cafes is a great place to catch up over a cup of chai. This is a casual cafe that works perfectly as a venue for meetings, catching up with friends over a cup of tea or even just a convenient spot to work out of. They're known for their range of teas including Kulhad Chai and Tulsi Green Tea. The food here is more of a snacky affair with sandwiches and Nashta including things like 'Bun Maska' and 'Vada Pav' as well as some sweet treats. Perfect for when you are feeling peckish and do not want a full meal.
This place has a really great selection of indian breakfast and snacks. Must have their Chilli cheese Toast and Spinach Corn sandwich.
Chaayos has been the regular place to pass time or simple socialize with your loved ones. It's an ideal cafe for any small meetings that you can think of. We visited the Reclamation outlet two days after the renovation and I seriously loved the whole ambience. It's so bright & colourful and the best amongst all their outlets. I literally didn't realise how time passes here. We simply had their tea with the best add ons and it was a great experience in all.
Went here on a weekend afternoon with a friend to grab some lunch and drinks. We decided to try some of their new summer offerings. The ambience was nice. They have seating with air-conditioning inside, but we decided to sit outside. Service was efficient and polite. We started with the strawberry lassi and the egg bun. The strawberry lassi was sweet and refreshing, the taste reminded me of strawberry ice cream. The egg bun was an enjoyable light snack. The filling had egg, pepper and corn and the bun was toasted to perfection. Having enjoyed the first lassi, we decided to try some more. We ordered the chilly cheese toast and the mango lassi. The mango lassi was alright, to us it tasted more like a milkshake. The chilly cheese toast was amazing; it had lots of cheese, and an appropriate amount of spice. The combination with the sweet mango lassi was fantastic. We then ordered a couple of more lassis. The mint masala lassi was the only one of their offerings that wasn’t sweet. It was a tad spicy and I really liked it. However, some people may not enjoy it if they are expecting sweet drinks. On the other hand, the litchi lassi tasted amazing and was my favourite of the lot. With these we ate some palak patta fritters. I highly recommend these; they’re crispy and each bite has a burst of flavor. My only complaint with these is that I would’ve liked some more. We also had the butter chicken kulcha. The quantity was decent and the taste was average. Finally, we decided to have some dessert. We ordered an aam panna ice tea with a moist chocolate cake. The aam panna ice tea was refreshing and delicious, and it is certainly a unique flavor not available in many other cafes. The moist chocolate cake was perfect – hard on the outside, gooey and chocolaty on the inside. Overall, we had a good experience and would definitely recommend giving a shot to this café!
