I recently dined at Chowman in Andheri West, and the experience truly lived up to the brand’s reputation for authentic and flavourful Chinese cuisine. From the moment you step in, the ambience feels warm and refined, with comfortable seating and a calm, classy vibe that works equally well for family meals and casual dining.

We ordered a mix of starters and mains, and every dish was well-presented and packed with flavour. The Kung Pao Veg (Dry) was perfectly balanced—crispy, spicy, and not overly oily. The Crispy Chilli Baby Corn stood out with its crunch and bold seasoning, making it an excellent starter. The Coriander Burnt Garlic Veg Rice was aromatic and light, with generous portions and a nice balance of vegetables, while the Chilli Garlic Baby Corn & Mushroom gravy complemented the rice beautifully with its rich, tangy sauce and fresh ingredients.

Portion sizes are generous, making the meal great value for money. Service was prompt and courteous—the staff was attentive without being intrusive, and orders arrived well-timed. Cleanliness, presentation, and overall attention to detail were clearly noticeable, right down to the neat table setup and menu presentation.

The bill was reasonable for the quality and quantity served, and everything felt fairly priced. Chowman Andheri West is a reliable spot if you’re craving authentic Indo-Chinese and Chinese flavours done right. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again to explore more from their extensive menu. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had an amazing dining experience at Chowman Andheri West!
From veg and non-veg starters to mains, gravies, desserts and drinks everything was absolutely top-notch. The flavors were rich, authentic and perfectly balanced, especially their Kolkata-style chilli chicken, drums of heaven, baos, momos, fried rice, noodles and khao suey.

The ambiance is beautiful with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Service was super fast, friendly and very professional. Great quality, generous portions and pocket-friendly prices make this place a must-visit for Asian food lovers.

Highly recommended for an unforgettable Chinese & Asian dining experience!

Chowman is located in Andheri West and it is near the Andheri Sports Complex and on the main road hence easy to find.

This brand hails from Kolkata and they have their presence in multiple cities. This particular outlet has indoor and outdoor seatings available and they have used the space nicely. The decor is decent and the overall vibe of the restaurant is nice.

The menu here is one of the best as they have covered a lot of items. The variety available is amazing and pricing is not high. The quantity and quality of whatever we tried was excellent. They also have a kids menu plus they run various offers too.

We went here for dinner and the kitchen service was on time. Special thanks to Staff Dhiraj & Santanu as they knew the menu well and they were attentive and proactive.

What We Had -
APPETISERS~
Doremon’s Beloved Red Chicken -
From the kids menu. This was honey sesame chicken. Taste wise good however too crispy hence hard and chewy. Need improvement.

Smokey Chicken -
Chicken tossed in garlic chilli based sauce tasted really good. Loved the juicy chicken and the smokey flavours of the chilli was good plus the garlic didn’t had strong taste.

Kolkata Style Chilli Shrimp -
One of the best shrimp dish. Tossed in soy sauce again not with overpowering flavours this dish was tasted really good. The fresh prawns, the crunchy outer layer and the sauce was this dish excellent.

MAINS~
Pan Fried Noodles -
Again one of the best pan fired noodles experience. Lightly fried noodled with soy based gravy, veggies, chicken and prawns. Trust me this is a must try as it tasted outstanding.

Chowman’s Special Rice with Hong Kong Chicken Gravy -
Rice with egg, chicken and prawns paired with hot Hong Kong gravy was soul satisfying. Loved the combination and taste wise both the dishes were excellent.

DESSERT~
Chocolate Mousse -
The mousse was chocolatey and creamy plus it was fresh and wasn’t too sweet. Hence tasted delicious.

BEVERAGES~
Thai Lemonade.
Sparkling Blueberry.
Both the drinks tasted nice and paired nicely with the food.

So our meal at Chowman Andheri West was one of the best Chinese food experiences I’ve had. They also run dine in offers so do check that before going. Highly recommended and a must try.

Kolkata based chinese brand now in Mumbai. Welcome to Chowman. The place has some delicious chinese food ( both veg and nonveg). The place is Walking distance from Azad Nagar metro station. The ambiance of this place is great, having both indoors as well as outdoor seating arrangements. Let's talk about food, in food we tried Drums of Heaven, Chicken Dimsum, Veg fried Rice, Crispy corn, Prawns Garlic, Bassa fish which are all delicious. If you love chinese food then you should definitely visit this place.
