This place, otherwise, popular for its banquet space has a large restaurant and bar spread over three seating areas- an outdoor space, an indoor section and a hookah and bar area on the first floor. The AC indoor section although staid offers privacy and is apt for family dining. The all-vegetarian menu is fairly exhaustive with offerings from Indian, Mexican, Italian and Chinese cuisines. The 'Cheesy Eclair' and 'Kalonji Broccoli' are innovative and worth trying. The 'Birbal Khichdi' is satiating, but a tad too greasy. Most of the Indian dishes are run-of-the-mill. It is the global fare which stands out and popular among the younger crowd. 'Paneer Burnt Garlic Rice' with 'Hunan Sauce' from the Combo section is something you may want to try. The 'Quesadilla' with vegetables and oodles of cheese is palate pleasing. Uninspiring desserts on offer, so a 'Kulfi Falooda' is your best bet. The service staff needs to be trained better although they are warm and polite.
A good place to enjoy your time with your family. It serves good food with good options to choose from. If you are looking for a family dinner outing this is a good place to be Food 4/5 Look and feel 4/5 Service 3.5/5 You should try there Mocktails Blush on ice Berry berry Food Panner tikka slider Panner hill top sizzling Dessert Triple sundae Deep fried oreo There are my recommendations for the Daffodils. The food was good and reasonable, buy the service was simply pathetic. There were very few service personals. We had booked table for 9.30, which they confirmed for 10.00 PM and we finally got the table at 10.40 PM. There was only one person taking the order.. Though the food was good, if u want test your patience then surely visit the place.
Daffodils is a fine dine family restaurant. Place has good ambiance with seating area in both A/c as well as open. Situated at Malad Link Road, place is easy to find. This restaurant serves vegetarian multi-cuisine food and serves alcohol. Panner Hiltop and Schezwan Hakka Noodles are worth giving a try. Staff is welcoming and polite. There was live singing on guitar the day I had been there which we enjoyed.
One of my favorite Restaurant in Malad( w )mumbai . We've tried most of the restaurants in Mumbai but trust me Daffodils 23 is the one we keep coming back to. I love the taste , the quality , the ambience & the food its .....delicious ! Its perfect for someone who is trying ....veg Indian food , We were also pleasantly happy with the hospitality extended by the owner Mr Satish Sheatty , he is a gem of a person he knows what is “Atithi Devo Bhava “ food we ordered was excellent, I say its pretty much spot on for authenticity. The service has always been very attentive whenever we've been there it’s a value for money , waiting period is about 10 - 15 min but in my opinion well worth it, we've always left full and very satisfied. I've been craving their food for a while now ,so we plan on stopping in over the weekend for sure... I suggest this place for all the vegetarian food lovers , it’s a must visit , they serve drinks also it is a rare combination of veg food with bar in western suburbs of Mumbai , I personally recommend this place to all my friends and relatives , I once again thank Mr Satish Sheatty for maintaining the quality in his food and service and such a humble , gentle attitude toward his customers and down to earth approach which adds extra taste in his kitchen 👍🏻
Had gone to Daffodils 23 on a Saturday afternoon with a family group of 15.. Since had done a booking, got the tables immediately. We started with an array of soups (sweet corn, lemon n coriander, tomato etc.) . Especially liked the lemon n coriander soup.. One of the different starters we ordered was 'Paneer Hill Top Sizzling' which was like a paneer sizzler but served as a started. It tasted good. Lunch was the usual sabzi-roti (in that the panner lababdar was nice). We also tried their recommendation 'Khichiya Churi' which is like crushed paped served along with chutney.. was ok though, nothing great. The portions were nice (though not exactly value for money) Service was decent and we were out of the place within 1 hr 15 min (not bad for a 15-person group). Overall, liked the place and would definitely look forward to visiting again.. !
The number of affordable restaurants in Mumbai are lesser than you think. As more and more fancy upbeat eateries are launching on it’s food scene, the prices are also driving up, which leaves us foodies a somewhat lacking number of pocket-friendly restaurants. However, we have discovered a great place one can go to have a lavish meal without bothering about money. Called ‘Daffodils 23’ by the locals, this restaurant has garnered a huge interest of surrounding families. It is one of the few completely vegetarian restaurants in Mumbai and is located at Club Link Building, Near Toyota Showroom, Link Road, Malad West. Free parking and a generous buffet spread puts Daffodils 23 as serious contenders in the city. The restaurant is quite accessible for wheelchair-bound. It’s a good spot to take your family to for dinner.
If you think being a pocket-friendly restaurant, Daffodils 23 will have a limited menu then you couldn’t be more wrong. Their menu is vast and encompassing. While there is expected North Indian section on the menu, it quickly enfolds the global side with Chinese, Asian, Thai, Mexican, Continental and Italian, which fills any foodie with glee. The menu holds some vegan options as well that is a huge plus. Jain community often comes here. Daffodils 23 is not one of those vegetarian restaurants without a bar menu. Here, you can indulge in booze to your heart’s content. Tuck into a variety of starters before moving on to the main course, which features hits like, veg kheema lakhnawi, takey tacos, cannelloni, paneer tikka pizza, enchilada, Schezwan Hakka noodles, veg Thai curry with rice, BBQ sizzler and malai kofta.
Devour a range of desserts to round off this meal. A darshan, sizzling brownie with ice cream, kulfi falooda and malai kulfi would do famously. Kids can enjoy a scoop of their favorite flavoured ice cream. Perky live music keeps the patrons happy while dining at Daffodils 23. Interiors are modern and earthy-toned. Clever use of multi-colored umbrellas hanging upside down at the hallway instantly hooks your interest. Inside, the décor is classically and contemporarily designed but not quite luxurious. Considering Daffodils 23 being a reasonably priced restaurant, it is a value for money place. It may not hit you with bells and whistles but it will leave you satisfied and wallet-happy. Book prior you go. It’s quite busy all week long.
